@Doozer - wasn't in any way talking about any specific posts by anyone mate, just in general terms but a cross listing is what seems to be planned from my understanding too but there has been some confusing use of Dual Listing at times by the company.

Tardiness whether vocal or written is unprofessional, certainly didn't happen when I ran a company and it should never be happening in a company the size of GGP now - if any MD finds themselves explaining miscommunication I would hope they have the sense to have everything checked such as digital and comms related material and reiterate the need to staff to be precise at all times to avoid any confusion.

There are a few occasions GGP could have used better PR practice for instance - no one is perfect or beyond reproach including Shaun - he will have his pro's and con's as a CEO/MD moving forward and while I don't doubt the team will deliver operational excellence this year - what benefits us will be the SP value and the GGP team still have work to do on that regard albeit as stated earlier we need to allow them time to deliver.

Deffo some very dumb questions at times or trouble makers masquerading as newbies for sure but for the rest all I was suggesting was just signpost to GGPChat as LSE boards are full of nonsense and have always been, think we can all agree on that folks 😉

For genuine newbies, GGPChat has a lot of info as do various posters such as Bamps etc. on here whose posting histories are worth reading.

No time to keep updated at mo but I did collate info. regarding GGP Mark 2 post Telfer/Hav deal at link below that will help a new investor understand the plan for next 12 to 18 months alongside latest long form interviews and RNS releases to see how things are developing along the planned roadmap.

I also have to say a healthy dose of skepticism is fine with me, things can and do invariably change whatever good intentions or motives any CEO has which is why I personally have such an intensive and methodical approach.

I like Shaun having met and spoken to him but trust doesn't come into it, any company is balancing a million interests including those of major shareholders etc. so stated plans can change, so an agile approach is best IMO. Because the reality is that the age of retail is over now with GGP, we are passengers.

This as I've said before is a pivotal year, the team need to show they can deliver now on both operational excellence but for shareholders with a serious rerate as if they can't manage it with current POG and list of catalysts then when will they... but on the other hand they need to be given the time it will take to deliver these potential catalysts too.

IMO we won't get a handle on potential for SP by year end until we see how they leverage the ASX listing to hopefully build a higher base, certainly we need the Telfer updates and quarterly revenue figures too leading into the listing so no point in getting fixated on daily SP action and arguing amongst ourselves :-)

I would just chill out until Q2 when I feel the real action starts.

It's sad to see the state of the chat groups these days in the community ,constant bickering here and TG is deffo very quiet where mostly now admins are the main posters ironically having seen many of the more critical thinkers who posted in there move away from using it.

Aso, perhaps just some frustration with people still using chat boards having to wait for telfer updates, Q1 revenue and ASX isting to hopefully get SP moving with more impact. Probs need to wait to see a really decent rerates until Q2 and if ASX listing doesn't do it, then we'd have to start wondering about the strategy employed to buy assets but I think we'll be fine once on ASX.

Plenty of information on https://www.ggpchat.co.uk/ for newbies to cross reference and read up where some of us had been collating a reference library of sorts, just signpost there if a newbie seems genuine as no need for an ID ro use board and there is a search function.

We want new investors if genuine to get clued up and certainly I spent the time I have in past creating content for community for it to be shared as am sure is true for other contributors.

If I want dividends then plenty of great stocks out there already as I have invested in at times.

I want growth the next few years to stay invested, this year is a prime opportunity for a major rerate if this team is worth their salt and I think they are.

If we can't manage a decent rerate with ASX, Hav DFS and the revenue and Telfer updates in 2025 then when will we... no excuses this year and I am optimistic and we are seeing the team deliver on the plan in these early days in Q1.

ASX listing imo is when the real rerate starts and where a foundation will be built to accurately assess further potential.

Well ITS, what a timely chat... seems as if much more revenue to come from Telfer indeed ;-))

Will admit the funding package surprised me with number of shares issued and the value was more discounted than I hoped for, but there will be more revenue too, much more than I expected from Telfer especially ahead, albeit we await updates ... so we'll see and I understand the path Shaun chose of trying to avoid further dilution to develop Hav.

And divs are years off, not what interests me as may have sold or sliced by then depending on sector or my plans - what is hoped to be delivered is growth of market cap into SP.so stop crying troll boy.

And still waiting for you to come challenge me at the inaugural tea biscuit lifting competition at the next TH, albeit I might just decide to lift your no doubt weak troll physique into the Thames lol

I agree with Bamps - after being surprised at the Business Plan unveiled in the deal as we all were with Telfer, I went through everything out there and I don't expect a gap in ore as I an confident that GGP's due diligence and knowledge of Telfer and abilities to deliver on their expectations will ensure they manage to keep revenue flowing and also develop and bring Hav into production with minimal dilution.

If I didn't I'd have sold. A risk is the market still doesn't come to appreciate GGP once on ASX - that is one for you to decide on and there is no guarantee that SP growth this year will be enough for all of us invested at different averages and for different timeframes, forced or otherwise.

You need to DYOR and read/listen through everything to fully understand what the plan is and also the potential for Telfer to deliver revenue into Hav production and then make up your own mind without being too reliant on opinions of folk you don't know or have never met unless over time like Bamps they've shown to have some expertise and ability in their specialism.

Bullish comments aside you should know if investing long term in sector vs trading on fundamentals that LOM = Life Of Mine mate.

Why not just check corporate prez as a first step to answering your questions and DYOR if the board is a bit rampy in your opinion then surely incumbent upon you to DYOR :-)

I think it's more to do with ramping up things for ASX listing and getting the interest and presence built up in the market than anything related to new M&A and we really need to deliver ROI for this deal before conducting more IMO.

I don't think buying out Antipa would really do much for us at mo, their assets with future ROI from Minyari which requires exploration and development first rather than buying production revenue as such and as Bamps said - we have plenty of our own ground to still explore too.

There really is no rush with doing a deal or merger etc.. with Antipa IMO, let them get on with spending up their funds to explore and increase knowledge and ROI about Minyari etc. I'd rather we pay more with more assured ROI in place for instance - the team will swoop in when optimal I am sure, to me it's not really a concern or a short term priority.

What needs focus short term is obvious and related to Telfer and assuring market of revenue until Hav comes online. The business case is about profitability and constant revenue not necessarily about having to run telfer at max output being the focus for now.

And we need to see ROI delivered for this deal in short term full stop before thinking that doing lots of other deals will help the SP. And a large part of the team's focus needs to be and no doubt is on taking over, getting to grips with and optimising the current operation too.

There is a lot to do for the team in the present.

So very sorry to hear about the loss of your dear wife Bellers and I know you've also had other challenges in the years you've been posting here.

Alas, I've learnt through both my parents passing away unexpectedly at young-ish ages whom also had so many plans for retirement that everything can change in a moment and it's certainly changed my perspective massively about ensuring I enjoy the here and now and don't put things off too much - as we never know what is around the corner sadly.

I hope that things work out rapidly for yourself and many others that are unable or unwilling to be able to wait much longer and my thoughts are with you and your family, take care mate.

@Howzeap - The Valmin code has various valuation methodologies and when you value a company using the code you are as I recall are suppose to use both a primary and secondary method albeit I'd consider DCF the appropriate primary method moving forward too. Teh reports are rarely public too from my understanding although the valuation for the NEM acquisition definitely seemed to follow the principles of the code I noted

The current board are a busy and very in demand bunch but also no spring chickens. You'll see some of them deviate away fully from mining companies perhaps to retire or follow other interest perhaps in their 'retirement' I would imagine and no guarantee they or Shaun will be around in 5-10 years at GGP if other opportunities abound - but no issue with me - we just need them to get the foundation set up.

A huge premium in a few years is easy to predict given the current valuation and what the company has planned and the strong potential in achieving it - so nothing spectacular IMO in achieving that - a highly competent and experienced team should manage that as a bare minimum and not be lauded for it :-)

The better and more proven one is - the higher the expectations that are set for you.

By the end of this year we'll either be lauding the team or we won't, there won't be a feasible excuse IMO if we're still loitering around lower levels I feel.

Simple as that really - this should be a year that an ability is shown to return ROI or what are we invested here for?

But to try and measure the success of the deal by mid Jan is not appropriate given the way the deal was structured and the clearly stated business plan for next 12-18 months.

I'm not stating 'patience' - not at all - I'm suggesting a reasonable time to let the team try and build demand for shares and increase market cap but reasonable - not infinite and IMO - they should have achieved a reasonable level of SP growth by year-end.

But what is 'reasonable' is an individual decision for each of us but surely so soon into ownership is far too early one would argue.

TBF those LTH who sold in 2020 made a large profit, the general rule is to sell after maiden MRE but was ignored by many. One I was certainly aware of despite being a sector newbie but chose to go against for various reasons. It wasn't the market being crooked but a bad investing decision by many LTH generally albeit for instance Matty I know your reasons were to gain more profit for family members to also benefit.

We will just have to see how this year works out post deal with the potential catalysts lined up. No guarantees in investing but the market hasn't screwed any LTH up as we had a very strong opportunity in 2020 to collect profits. AIM juniors have been a terrible place to hold money in since early 2021 full stop IMO. As an investor you have to reflect and learn and adapt strategies.

Luckily we still have an opportunity albeit the deal again IMO favoured institutions getting in cheap and aligning the shareholder base with an insto base the team would prefer to work with. Big business is for the big boys and the big boys want their own ilk to deal with l, not us unpredictable rabble.

Hopefully going back to my train ticket metaphor at year end, the carriages will be upgraded this year for 2nd and 3rd class passengers. We are still in mid Jan, we need to let things play out at least in H1 to get a sense of how things might play out.

@hh - might be the webinar is 'marketing fluff' to aid a planned placing - it is a viable scenario unfortunately given how things are playing out.

i think han**** is still viable and a deal will be closed this year unless as you suspect things are being purposefully strung along - but a deal unlikely to deliver meaningful roi for those with higher averages so they have my sympathy as han*ock.

key component of success in this sector is the right management in place to capitalise on excellent assets as we have in oz - alien lacks coherent and stable strategical planning, a focused and stable management team and the lack of a ceo is telling in the areas a ceo would manage are the weakest areas.

the hold rs has now on the company is a serious issue too now.

han*ock is such a relatively simple project to try and develop or divest which has seemed so difficult for alien - so we need to see a ceo appointed who builds a cohesive team that can build, execute and deliver on plans moving forward. han**** if indeed in multiple talks for various options should be promising for a deal to be closed in 2025 h1 - so the wording used will be interesting next week.

Hav FS is due in H2 as development and production under the new ownership of GGP has been pushed out to a more optimised method which will have the benefits of a more profitable production life and ensure such benefits as a stockpile provides vs the old plan NCM had to rush Hav into production without focusing on extending LOM at Telfer to the extent that GGP are.

You'd assume that this is because the team is confident that the work they are prioritising with Telfer updates in H1 will appease any concerns about revenue and ore from while Hav is brought into production which is why there will be no need to rush either the FS or production for the reasons stated.

The DFS needs to be revised in line with the new project scope and whatever else they are amending/adding from what NCM had been working on, not just rushed out of the door given the scope changes in the project and there seems less need to sprint if Telfer updates deliver extended LOM and profitable forecasts in meantime to cover the gap in Hav coming online.

Stop endlessly whinging about the need for a Hav DFS in quick order as the priority - it's not the primary priority at the minute, Telfer related activities and ASX are and H2 is when we should see the Hav DFS delivered which the relevant members of the team are also working on.

You know why NCM and NEM delayed the DFS - and now GGP have their own timeline and won't have any issues in meeting it you would think - but it needs to be revised and remodelled in line with whatever their plans are and such things as supply chains etc. need to reconsidered too with GGP being new owners with their own dynamics.

It's going to be quiet until q1 reporting and updates on Telfer that start defining a longer LOM which is of foremost importance with Havieron pushed into a more optimised but methodical and slower timeframe into production Freddie.

Therefore, not much to discuss right now so we will find out in Q2 if the team can generate SP momentum. Not sure TBH why anyone would expect SP to be shifting up until Q2 given the very clear plan of action and might even take the ASX listing to do that given the appetite for AIM stocks at mo. Perhaps some macro factors might form in meantime but otherwise I'm expecting a quiet Q1 mostly.

Not much being poster here or TG and I doubt the chat bairds will ever be mega busy again TBH, welcome to boring corporate business and yeah, before you say it, hopefully the SP gets more exciting but personally I think we need until post Hav DFS to assess it fully.

But ending this year with 2026 will be the year etc. wil be judged a fail by me for year 1, definitely 2025 is the year Shaun and co. need to prove ROI to shareholders, 12 months is long enough IMO now.
