Likely be a coincidence Magnum, proxy service is a well known one called 12ft ladder with a wide user base - definitely not a dodgy one, I'm very tech savvie so would never use/share anything dodgy :-)

Their service helps access cached version of web pages without paywalls used to allow Google, Bing etc. to rank them for SEO purposes as otherwise wouldn't be able too with a paywall in place. Thinking the proxy service might have played up with your ad blocker as yours might use a similar technique vs other methods I won't bore you with to block Ads.

A great adBlocker I use in Chrome is AdBlocker Ultimate., few more listed below for anyone in case having issues after using the link, sorry if so but the info below will help find the better ones out there:

I hope something else has become clear the last couple of days - it's really the lack of interest in the sector holding us back as many of us have been suggesting vs Shaun/GGP as the news we've been getting in terms of results at Havieron and other outcomes has been great for the most part in the last 2 years - but the sector has been unattractive to be invested in. Had we had the RNS's about funding, board appointments, EGM outcome confirming shareholder support etc. in a better sector/market we'd have flown back up, hence why my expectations aren't as much tied into GGP progress or even major milestones as I have positive expectations of those - or I would have sold out but the sector becoming attractive again.

The inflow of money back to the sector is needed get the maximum effect of catalysts leading to production IMO. Shaun and importantly the entire team (old and new) have done a sterling job to ensure we haven't been bought for peanuts due to a very ill thought out option exercise by previous management through the ability to create a JORC resource update and a very complicated valuation report/process and managed to structure a funding deal in a sector that was and kind of still is torrid with only a PFS with many peers struggling to do so with a FS in hand.

In order to do the above they've had to bring in a lot of resources and experts, look at the people/firms involved in consultation and peer reviews - they need paying but 13m shares against 5bn issued isn't going to keep me up at nights given the alternative. Which I feel would have been a SP collapse on a valuation aligned to a PFS winning out and probably then followed by a cheap takeover bid which may well have been the death blow for us. We'll have to be patient to see big returns akin to 2020 here but I do feel strongly we'll be well rewarded if the sector reverts back to being hot. Is it guaranteed, of course not - we'll have to weigh up our chances based on our own thoughts for the future :-)

The option exercise was a very complicated exercise, also critical to us as a low price tag would have probably resulted in a complete collapse of our SP and cheap takeover bid - small price to pay IMO.

Hi DGR, I'm thinking more long term generally as an industry trend mate, I've noted a few of the CEO's of majors giving their opinion in interviews and write up's that they see consolidation as a necessity in eth industry moving forward, and also see a period of M&A becoming prominent as per previous bull cycles for the sector...

Also give a few years of better asset prices, better SP, profitability and dividends and NCM may have a more amenable shareholder base, not many of us invested in the sector jumping for joy at present :-))

Thx Paddy - the same guy actually wrote another article a while back as someone pointed out on TG where he fudged the geo aspects badly... and seems to have again slightly with decline, probably as the author is a finance journo/tv production guy vs engineering or geo background.
Thought he had some good insights this time around for the reasons the cutback was approved and hedging being in place to ensure Telfer is kept ticking over for Havieron which many of us agree with. Although not sure I agree with his statement that this means NCM is completely out of the M&A game, going to be a lot of consolidation in the next decade or so I feel from my own research - but then... WTFDIK either :-))

CP - I pointed out we found out in the NCM September quarterly which preceded the GGP RNS... which was after all based on the NCM announcement.

@Redrunner, reasons given to extend Havieron DFS are as below in simpler terms by NCM.

Key Objectives:
- Optimise costs to combat inflation
- Optimise / increase production profile
- Increase resource & life of mine projections

And wording in the quarterlies suggests ours has been pushed beyond this quarter unlike Cadia's so I guess we will have to wait unless they change their mind.
