The interview was edited and presented to GGP to sign off inc' their legal peeps so early 2023 should have been clarified no doubt if incorrect.

The graph*** RA keeps is a changing forecast based on each update , we'll get an update soon and see if daily rates have increased in order to be able to estimate a new ETA for hitting the ore body in early 2023.

From what I understand hitting the ore body is one thing and then starting commercial production will be months later (not sure how many) in terms of stockpiling ore, metallurgical testing for processing and mine infrastructure etc. all required after they hit the ore body.

Hi Paddy/Jag - Liam can't get me an export till this evening which always needs a shedload of tidying up which I do as I listen concurrently but should have time tomorrow to get some notes sorted, would have been too busy today so works out well :-)

No one here is going to be able to answer this with authority at the end of the day including Bamps - when Shaun was pushed on the timing he stated the first step was the feasibility study and then typically you'd see that final investment decision on the back of that feasibility study.

I describe that as non-committal and as we saw with the DFS being extended, things can change quickly as we'd been told to perhaps expect it this month. Personally I see only a minimal delay as we'll be a few months more closer to production (which hopefully might be pushed forward dependent on decline progress) and even more urgency to move through the red tape :-)

The internal decision by NCM to whether to proceed will of course be made by their own board to feed back to the JV Committee.

The DTM is via JV committee so am expecting a bit of time lapse from DFS being published by NCM and then a mtg to formalise/decide on a DTM by the committee. Might be a very small delay of course and perhaps they release the outcome at the same time the study is publicly released

The SP is based on more than the individual company assets though ... much like the phrase Shaun used for the option exercise outcome - Price NOT Value, same applies to the SP and is often used in this context too.

- Market and Sector sentiment are as low as you can get pretty much
- POG not really favouring us like it was a couple of years ago
- we've ticked off the official derisking hurdle of funding of course for our company
- BUT we still need to do the same for a shared asset in Havieron with a DFS/DTM officially being rubber stamped by NCM

It doesn't matter what we think, we need it in black and white for many of the big boys to invest. There are funds that will be mandated to invest once we join the ASX so looking forward to that but we really need sentiment to return to the sector to really enjoy maximum effect of going into production. 2020 was unique, without the market blow up caused by the money printers on full speed and extra money burning holes in peoples pockets we would have seen a lesser ATH.

We also need to appreciate how the company will be valued as a producer and it won't be on resource size alone, it takes decades (and money) to mine so much ore so production rates. P/L, dividends etc. nowl feature in the investment case and the extension on DFS will help display that value and also strengthen the DTM case despite current inflation and asset prices.

aim999, I hope you survive xMas being as you're a Turkey and really hope that knife doesn't slip out of your grasp... mind you... if it's as sharp as your mind - you'll be safe enough LOL

@aim999... logic seems a stranger to you lol

- MRE not PFS
- JV = access to all data which is why they were able to produce their own JORC approved MRE
- Decision in JV is via a committee, not a control percentage
- GGP is not a 'professional' company you say, tell that to the staff who for the most part have had distinguished careers in relation to their ages and highly experienced management team plus go and check the directors appointed of late, these 3 are welcome anywhere in any boardroom globally I imagine
- Tribeca, Wyloo and the three major banks HSBC, ING and ANZ due diligence disagrees with your amateur opinion
- SP is depressed like most of the sector, will it recover with the sector, we'll find out eventually, part of the risk of any investment
- I agree, DYOR or in your case, do some research at even a basic level!

@Freddie - on another note...not sure what regs there are if an Oz fund wants to buy on AIM but Shaun is suggesting that the cross listing will mandate some Oz funds to buy us and that they may choose to buy via AIM so the ASX listing is more about making it compulsory for them to buy in this instance and Shaun seems to think they can then buy via AIM. I'm sure there are other reasons for a cross listing on ASX, might be a good question to put to Shaun....

@Freddie/Ace - I just checked in Interactive Investor where I have my ISA and I can buy Newcrest on ASX as I expected, might vary by provider so best way for most is to try getting a quote for an ASX listed stock to see if possible if not with II.
Shaun has constantly indicated they love the liquidity on AIM and the retail base so no plans to delist here.

Certainly with exploration as a key focus in the years ahead, I can't see them quitting AIM personally and Shaun mentions how OZ funds/insto's may still choose to buy the shares on AIM once a cross listing allows or even mandates them to buy and used Kirkland as an example of a TSX listed company that did this. I think with Shaun's initial background and the rest of the team's experience any move on ASX has been well planned and considered :-)

@aim999 - who know more about the pro's and con's of an ASX listing, a simple PI like you or someone with Shaun's experience..

- yeah well you know firstly thank you for the introduction that question really appreciated and on behalf of the whole team here the in terms of the ASX look I think that's an important augmentation to our listing platform
- you've seen with Tribeca coming in you've seen with Wyloo what I think we've done is matured the platform where institutional investors are really interested in Greatland which was not the case you know two years ago and again I think when I started I talked about that engagement with institutional investors and trying to keep the best of both worlds you know we want to maintain this fantastic interactive retail base we want to continue to or grow that and mature it and the best of both worlds is then bringing in that that institutional buying as well and of course acting together that's the best possible outcome you know
- the more demand the better the more liquidity the better and so when I think about the ASX look we've now had a cornerstone with Tribeca coming from Australia today we've got the Wyloo coming in as a strategic holder so that that Australian connectivity is important
- now I think I’ve talked before about having that ASX listing increases the man the number of funds that have a mandate to be able to invest in Greatland even having an intention to invest within 12 months brought us into some more of those mandates I think that's really useful in terms of where does the shares trade well they'll still trade in London
- what you typically see even with a cross listed is the shares trade on the deeper market and the more liquid market which of the course is London and that's good and we should celebrate that but I think if we can bring some buyers in just because they're aussie invested doesn't mean they still can't execute their order in London
- and you've seen I think I used an example previously Kirkland lake where it was just a compliance listing in Australia but allowed mandate locked funds in Australia to buy Kirkland Lake in this case on the TSX

@aim999 - Um what PFS, are you referring to the independent GGP MRE....

The one NCM went and updated the resource to a insignificant difference with aim999.... YES that one buddy, ours was JORC approved too I recall.
And now we will see a bigger resource update that feeds into the DFS delivering more production and a longer LOM too in a few months - shame that.
And who knows perhaps a secondary extraction method for the High Grade SE Crescent and we know to expect a block caving PFS too once in production for the E.breccia - what could be worse!
Oh and... growth and infill drilling will continue from underground - OMG, get out the fire hose, this is an inferno of bad news!
