You have every right to be concerned. The Sapienza website already updated with TPG details the very morning of the RNS ?
IMO this is an excellent acquisition for TPG, and will greatly enhance their CEM division.
However, it did cost exactly half the war chest (of 23m).
Would have expected sp to have gone into orbit by now - but hopefully later.

REsults as forecast, no downers, exploaration on track. Looking good.

Seems it affects brain in same way as alcohol without any of the side effects to liver, kidneys, heart. Immediate acting antidote available so you can drive home afterwards without any effect. Could be the shape of drinking to come - in about 3 years or more.

GSK given high equity stake in Fulcrum plus royalties. Sounds good.

Perused the Scheme of Arrangement document and found that although the meeting to approve the takeover is May 10th, D Day when shares are no longer traded is sometime in Q4 with long stops on 10/12 and Friday 13/03/2020 ! Cheques despatched 14 days after D Day.

Hope someone comes in with counter offer before 10/5.

Trent - all the Marston pubs in Kent/Mudway have an extra menu specially for vegans, with a half decent range of stuff. Means I can actually go out for meal with daughter down the pub - which would otherwise not be possible. Not a vegan myself, but have to admit liking the coconut ice cream - goes well with Hobgob Gold. The complete menu at these pubs is surprisingly varied and much bigger than comparable chains such as Beefeater, Vintners, Brewers Fairy et al. Quality is streets ahead of Wetherspoons (beer and food). True story about Beefeater - went there 6 weeks ago on a Sunday and ordered roast beef. Guess what - there was none - talk about not living up to their name ! Ended up having fish and chips instead.

Grub same as any pub chain? Thats horse s***. Credit where credits due, MARS does a great vegan menu which vegans (eg my daughter) really enjoy.

Selling the airline would allow the rest of TCG to be bought by non-European investors.
Under EU rules on airline ownership, European investors must own more than half of an airline or risk losing flying rights in Europe.
So who are these non-European investors ? Vulture funds ?

Daily Mail thinks the recent price rise caused by moving to AIM !
Seems that due to greater scrutiny, AIM is no longer place for higher-risk companies to access capital, but ideal for firms struggling to make impact on main market.
So when RNO announced its intention to de-list from LSE and join AIM market, its shares rose 10.3 per cent higher to 30p.
Advantage of AIM is the ability to attract 'specialist AIM investors' that would not have considered them on the main market, making a useful pool of cash if company is struggling to entice investment.
