Without throwing too much caution to the wind, I also did mull that with his follow up comment on Twitter (Get Shorty) he was revealing this may have been a rushed response to the recent share price behaviour. Communicating this sort of stuff long in advance would eliminate those thoughts...although I also wouldn't be surprised if this was organised at very short notice to specifically attack the shorts.

That was hellishly good....even if it was uploaded and then disappeared and then came back (what would HEMO be without the odd tech issue). JHFH will have fun with that with the shorters on ADVFN - their twaddle is completely exposed by a coherent and focussed interview that demonstrates a driven CEO who's making real business decisions.

On CDX...not sure what negotiating position we will be in to go on our own as doesn't the IP go both ways? ie in the absence of an EL license are we able to progress on anything with our CDX candidate until we have a licensing agreement ourselves with EL? That was the rationale I understood behind the stages of the post dev work.

HereandNow...the CEO/scientist behind this doesn't want to be distracted by multiple incremental equity raises...he wants to focus on progressing the development of the portfolio and on being a scientist. The financing allows for this with up to £60m available. If folks behaved ordinarily and the share price gradually rises as we move down the development timelines then the financing gives similar flexibility to multiple equity raise without the chore of it. My own understanding of the motives behind the chap holding the CLN's are his motives are in line with the company's, so I'm comfortable holding as it fits with that model, in full knowledge there is always the risk of manipulative behaviour at some point. As always DYOR.

Ramesh...it’s a little desperate if not pathetic to me to try link that sentiment to that tweet. But Vlad is in tweet mode...take a look at his M&A one. Very useful to read the linked article. No I don’t conclude from that tweet that a deal is about to be done. But to me he is reminding us of the long term prize and managing expectations.

This is a gross generalization but I think we're suffering from 2 things. Firstly the world's current mind-set where lockdowns and pandemics have folks at the edge of their patience. Secondly, the modern era is of instant gratification and patience is not an attribute that the world seems to value / support anymore.

So when Vlad says the words (or equivalent) "takes years and billions" ...many seem to remember that for maybe a month. And then forget it and start whining. We will get news, I also want it to be sooner rather than later, but we're guaranteed that with the countdown on EL we will hear something for sure on CDX...positive or negative.

Yes I'm sure he had some work primed for when the cash comes in, but there's no big button in his office that he pressed when the cash came in which releases a flood of IND's and emails to the regulators and market. They are a small team and we celebrated how much they had done with such a small team. They have been struggling by the sounds of things to find the right hires to grow so they're still a small team. In most of this boards minds they will be taking their time , but on a timescale of years and billions they are likely not.

When I see folks (with only a handful of posts) suggesting that maybe it's time we get rid of Vlad. I immediately assume it's Suzi et al reincarnated again. It's clear that someone who posts that has either not read enough up about the company to know how key Vlad is or they're knowingly trying to stoke absurd views. Now maybe I'm being harsh on a new investor, or an investor who caught the ride up and who has suddenly looked at their position and realised they're underwater so has come onto the board to look for ideas / discussion...if I am, my only comment is do more research and have a lot more patience.

Perhaps Vlad's blown all the dosh on a large...ahem...cannibus stock! Nah, we will eventually get news - the plan was laid out in the prospectus. It will just take time. And we'll run the CDX EL will they / won't they gambit for the next while at least.

Mjng...with the greatest respect I'm with Stonk. I have been in this share for years. I believe in this share. But the mindless ramping drives me nuts. All I and I suspect Stonk want is some sensible balanced consideration.

From the Dec MH interview it came across very strongly that we ought to hear something on the debt restructuring soon.

It may be my own conspiracy theory, but perhaps the oil price rise has caused re-trade discussions and the terms they thought they might be settled on are back up for negotiations...and that's holding everything up. Games of chicken might be being played out and MH is having to split time between that and deciding whether he should prioritize workovers or exploration. Likely a complete work of fiction from me but it's all I have to think about in the absence of the company giving any news.

In any prospectus the promoters have to list all the random risks they can think of. This is to protect the investors from being misled but also the promoters and the company from legal liability in the event a risk is realised and investors start a legal claim. I can’t remember if this is specifically in FCA requirements or law...or is done out of an abundance of caution by the legal team. The same goes for any forward looking statements...there has to be a caution given in those.

The risks are real, but we all know these risks as investors in early stage pharma and early stage businesses, right? Nothing in that list should be a surprise to anyone and putting down that list shouldn’t make everyone go “Oh poo”

Most if not all serious investors have seen plenty of prospectuses and will know this and will not react to the risk statements.

But the chop trolls are looking to prey on fickle investors / investors with less experience by trying to hype the risks pointed out in the document. No one is saying there isn’t risk here, that’s why everyone says dyor....but because some clear idiots say there is a risk and point to it in the prospectus, don’t panic. Don’t think of it because the trolls told you to think of it. Think about it because you want to make a proper investment decision. Ideally before you invest too much!

Had convinced myself you were a useful counterbalance against the rampers, but no...you are not. Had some good memories of your views being helpful...but I can't even find those. Bline If you want to cheer up...what I made on Anglo I lost a similar amount on Sirius Minerals...when Anglo bought them for a song. Now you'll get me moaning about the PI's being screwed!

But back to Hemo...every one needs to chill. Give Vlad a few days - let him have a moment of happiness for heaven's sakes.

Bline59...I feel your pain so don't take this the wrong way, but don't think your example is valid. I'm close to mining and also knew when Anglo went that low. It was bugger all to do with MM games or PIs being messed with. The global economy at the time meant weak commodity prices, uncertainty on demand (growth views and over-supply), and they were seriously over-leveraged from years of big acquisitions(worsened as lower pricing had led to lower EBITDA which worsened leverage) with a large chunk of capital commitments for projects underway. But the whole mining sector was in crap at that point. Those who had lower leverage had much strong share prices, but still dropped. I was working at another company at the time and we had to sell an excellent asset (in very much a buyers market), simply to survive. I piled in when Anglo went that low as I was extremely confident they would survive. I got out at $9/$10 very happy with my turn. Should have held on.

I’m at a loss as to why one tweet sends everyone down EL rabbit holes. Eagle has landed I’m sure simply means the CLN dosh arrived. That being said I’m not sure I like his choice of phrase. Only marginally better than a picture of him in a money suit smoking $100 bills.
