The one things about 6 months negotiation is I'm hoping it will hold Vlad back from spending serious capital on anything on CDX until the negotiations are done. I don't want us spending CLN money on that right now.

This always was a risky play biotech play. It still is...and to quote Monty Python..."I'm not quite dead yet...I'm feeling better". There's plenty to come still potentially, but this I worry may be the only genuine news we will get for the next 3 months outside of Vlad mounting a PR comeback. Feel it's still quite a while for something real on CBR and CAR-T but look forward to being wrong. We're going to need a lot of patience. Real question as to whether Vlad will spend the CLN money on CDX trials - we can also expect a bundle more conversion notices in the next few weeks at these prices.

Suspect there will be deafening silence until the carnage ends. Going to be an eternity until news on CAR-T or CBR otherwise.

More conversions incoming? Note all, I did get a call from PHC this morning. There was no clarification he could give ie between which way the IP licensing negotiations are going, but he did say that GlobalCo were severely slowed by COVID and that rolls through all of this still. They are, though, still keen and relationships are good...although that's all similar to what we've heard / know already, so nothing new.

No call tonight it seems, will chase tomorrow. And yes...well called...max one pumpkin per BB.

Mark - Initial contact was several months back through the HEMO investor relations (can't remember if it was an email address of a webform). Vlad pushed my then queries onto PHC who got in touch. The chap there is decent and left his door open if I had any other questions - so I mailed him direct this AM. He was happy to chat this evening. That all being said...still waiting for the call and I'm going to turn into a pumpkin at some point.

I've emailed PHC (if someone else has already shout) and asked them to clarify on the option given the vagueness in the RNS. They were helpful in January when I last spoke to them, so hopefully they can chime in here. It's a material difference whether negotiations are over GlobalCo licensing IP from us or us from them.

For heaven's sakes, it's a twitter account, get over it all. He can tweet whatever he likes on his private account and we can choose to get excited / ignore / wring our wrists each time trying to figure out what they're about. He's a bit zany, and we've known that for a while. If you dont like a zany scientist CEO, then don't stick around.

Pingu...in the interview Vlad recently did (was it 2 weeks ago?) he said then that the negotiations were ongoing. I think the RNS might have been there as a backfill as to me it is material information to have said publically that hadn't been released in an RNS before-hand. The RNS was basically them covering their butts.

6 months sounds right. I guess the current negotiations (ie "pre option exercise") are likely to just be sounding out terms to get a sense whether the sides are close enough that an agreement in the next 6 months is possible.

I guess they'll also use the next 6 months to allow EL to formally change their name to GlobalCo.... :-)

Think we are April fools (ba-dom-bish) if we think a deal is announced by 11th or a week thereafter. Do believe there is a deal coming but suspect longer timeframes. Anyone else got experience from other biotechs on how long licensing agreements can take to thrash out?

Vlad already said on the last interview that negotiations continue.... this is just a holding RNS reconfirming that, but indicates a delay. Would have given a timeline if he could have but takes the pressure off them for the potential SP drop off if no deal was announced by April 11th.

NY...same here...sort of. I'm ignoring some losses I took off the books. 1.6 or 1.7 will make up for those. But...a happy 2 days for sure.

Still holding some of he shares I bought at 10p...would cope with those being in profit as well...but that's greedy!

From experience with other 3rd world countries with government receipts in tatters - I'm not counting the VAT due to come in. There was some release which included some reference to VAT numbers coming in (in the $30-$50k range if memory serves), but nothing substantial. When a 3rd world government is short of cash, it's easy for them to throw beaureaucracy at VAT refunds and to slow them down. My favourite (based on a client of mine in another country) has been stopping VAT refunds for a year or so. The repayment of that VAT is now coming in via tax off-sets rather than actual cash payment - in effect the govt has borrowed for free off their VAT base for several years...well it will be once the offsets unwind.
