Anyone listened to the latest TMS interview?

Stu...sources are people I talk to about my investments and some who have been re invested in Hemo as long as I have been / longer. I don't accept everything I'm told - it's a personal interpretation I take from the bits I hear...that's why I say it's a suggestion and that there's no proof of that.

Tuan - if you go back to the posts last year (not suggesting that's worth spending time doing!) I was cynical about the COVID price uplift. My view was the valuation rocketed because Vlad had put a sign on one of the offices saying "COVID Project Warroom"...or something like that. The SP rise from my perspective was almost definitely due to COVID....but I'll take it!

Ssccss - the suggestion I heard from a couple of sources were that Globalco is interested in the rest of our product pipeline. Now the proof in the pudding won't be there for the moment I realise that, but I'm comfortable it means there's value in our IP. The market doesn't think that though it's just reacting to CDX I think. Vlad also did highlight competitors were around....just don't know how around they really are. After 3 or 4 years as an investor, I'm going to be really bummed if someone comes out with a super rat...

Jester...you jest? This is not RNS news at all. It's another collaboration with another HEMO equivalent as best as I can tell.

Vlad made it clear that the Mint situation is what it is, but he's looking at alternatives always. I thought someone mentioned a week or two ago that the £12m was still sitting in escrow and hadn't been touched. I wasn't sure that was the case, but it didn't seem impossible.

What do you mean by money from equity conversions? That's the CLNs, no?...or are there some warrants / options that have been exercised?

Vlad's interviews and presentations are coming across better and better. Totally scripted of course, but it's better when he talks. Although there still was an SMS ping in the interview...there's always something.

A bit sad he didn't mess with our heads by mentioning seatbelts in the interview.

Agree...last years mania would have propelled it, but for the moment, until we get concrete news on it I don't think wil will do too much to SP. That being said...if announcements come out that are positive and it's a generic / repeatable, quick way of generating a vaccine for any flavour of virus, we would be in the pound seats...well at least the ten of pence seats. :-)

To be clear, on CBR - I don't think he said much new, but it does feel like we should hear something in the near term and I think that may have been enough last year to bring in the masses again.

The interviewer came across more scripted than Vlad, but the whole thing was clearly scripted, which was expected. All talk of everything but the bad news on CDX until nearing the end...as you'd expect. Although there is definitely more at play here than they just said "No", so that's helpful. I think it's done what was needed in terms of holding patterns. Unless Mint muck around, suspect SP will hold or bounce a little up for the next few weeks. If we do progress on CDX I expect to hear specific spend requirements for each stage and how they will be funded well in advance of the actual commitment taking place.

Wonder if we're still close enough to COVID sensitivity that the market will jump on the next potential CBR/COVID solution...ie given current negative headlines bouncing around on current vaccines etc. If he had made those statements last year in the summer and then hinted news was to come relatively shortly, we would have been trading a long way past our 15p peak. Suspect the COVID sensitivity though has dumbed down, so don't expect much yet from that. Happy to be wrong though!

I agree there is risk with the interview and perhaps Vlad will get flustered and show signs of stress so it won't go as smoothly as we like. If the share price tanks as a result, that will be a downer (excuse the pun). But if Vlad says something as simple as "negotiations are ongoing on multiple fronts or on multiple products with globalco", then we do get to extrapolate that there is a bigger discussion going on. And if Globalco doesn't want CDX, that may just be the case and we have to get over it. There are other things to play for here, not just...ahem, saving peoples lives!

I think the interview has to be done. If they could have RNS'ed something before, they would have. They clearly can't. I think the interview will do its best to talk up ongoing negotiations and potentially suggest they don't include (just) CDX...CAR-T was mentioned 2 RNSes ago. My bet is Vlad's going to try do that, all while trying to avoid saying that Globalco is EL.

The interview is necessary as it shows management is working on it. Everyone is acting like we've rolled over and stuck our legs in the air. Management needs to do everything to make it clear that we've not. So yes, we need the interview. ..well in my mind.

I do feel something it going on. I struggle to see Vlad as a strategic deal maker so I write-off a CDX deal, but the complete silence means something must be afoot as otherwise a warm and fuzzy RNS on pipeline would have come out. Without that RNS it's possible that they're in discussions on the other products and can't talk still, but there's a large gap between possible and probable!

I do think this is oversold - the company has a pipeline and it has positive interest in the products. Will be an uncomfortable wait for sure, but I believe I will be here through it. Just want to get a feel for what the plan is with CLNs.

Also can't see another drawdown of the CLNs. My instinct is Vlad has to park CDX for the moment as it will burn too much cash ie if he doesn't plan on drawing more of the CLNs he'll want to spend the money on nudging other products forward where there may be more interest.

Understand everyone's emotions, but it's one of the potential products. Unfortunately it's a few months wait I feel until we hear anything on CART..I have no instinct on CBR. I wished that I had the belief that this was tactics from Vlad playing hard-ball in the negotiations with GlobalCo (fitting in with his "fasten your seatbelts")...but really I don't see him having that capability. I'm sure they're being advised to bring out an RNS as soon as they can...even if it was just warm fuzzy affirmation on the rest of the pipeline.

I personally think Vlad was naive enough to think that his vague RNS was going to be enough to placate the shareholders (although we know it was never going to be)...then he ultimately had to come out with the bad news spelling it out. That was necessary and was always going to hurt, but couldn't be avoided.

In terms of comms though, it's a funny game. I've seen businesses become successful while being vague...and if they'd ever been 100% clear, they would have failed. We are always taking a bet and placing trust in management (in this instance a good scientist) and so I trust them to a large degree to make judgement calls about when they need to be vague and when they can be clear (frustrating as it may be). But when they give us specifics on time periods and results, they will get called out on that...and hence here, why he never could get away without giving us a clear answer.

Crikey moses...there was a lot of ra ra ra and support 2 weeks ago for this company, now everyone is wallowing in self pity and pushing the blame game. This is a risk share, it always was a risk share. The good thing is it has a portfolio of potentials and a lot of interesting stuff going for it. This was a bad RNS for sure and I don't believe Vlad is playing JR Ewing in the background, but everyone is coming across as very naive. The whole point of a risk company that's fishing with multiple poles is that you don't have to roll on your back cry that you're going to go hungry when you lose one line. We may lose all those lines eventually, but we've still got a lot of fishing in front of us which is why we were here in the first place.

I've taken an eye-watering paper write-down over the last couple of days but I'm holding. When we start hearing some news from the company, I will make a decision as to whether I buy more. The company will be doing everything it can to get some good news out the door...they aren't daft. If they can't as they still need more time, so be it. If they start doing stupid / desperate stuff, then I will reconsider my holdings.
