You are of course quite entitled to criticise Looney but to assume that his defenders are former employees etc is non sensical and rather childish.
It is is true that i enjoyed a large salary in my former career and also have a couple of very nice pensions. I also enjoy an annual dividend of c £10k from Looney & Co. That will doubtless increase over the coming years.
Please do continue with your posts.
They provide essential light relief in these dark times !

Your concern for inexperienced investors is very touching.
If anyone bases their buy/sell decisions on the posts in this or any other bulletin board, then they only have themselves to blame.
All opinions expressed are, at best, based on 2nd hand information and should be treated as such.
We are about to find out how solid the "no limits" friendship between Russia and China really is.
Russia's request for military assistance is a clear indication they have major problems in subjugating Ukraine.
China's trading relationship with Russia is miniscule compared to its trade with the West.
Hopefully, pragmatism will win the day and the Chinese will realise Putin is bad for business .
We will not have long to wait - US and China meet in Rome today.
To all you long term holders who are feeling rather despondent today - well don't !
There are no sell recommendations from analysts that i am aware of and the average consensus rating is £4.50+
Keep the faith .

Evening Paul and thank you for your well considered post. Like you, I have been an investor for more than 30 years and made my fair share of mistakes.
Fortunately, there are a few smart guys on this board who talk a lot of sense, regardless of whether the SP is up or down.
One thing is for sure - I would never blame another for my own shortcomings as an investor, hence my filter list grows longer by the day!
Have a great weekend and my heartfelt best wishes to all in Ukraine.
