Given that the oil price is likely to remain elevated for the rest of the year the fall will hopefully not be too great. Iran has Trump by the proverbials so it depends how much they want to squeeze - quite a lot I imagine.

Trump is delusional if he thinks Iran will willingly give up control of the Strait of Hormuz. As much as I detest the Iranian regime, they have the stronger hand and will use it to get a better deal than the one negotiated by Obama a decade ago.

If there are any effective negotiators in the Trump administration they have been silenced by their own cowardice and self interest
