I think your absolutely correct in your assessment.

It going to be a long long summer with a great deal of analysis before we are close to a farm in.

If ConocoPhillips were summarising the Kodiak well PANR from a data room, it’d read something like:

* Resource present, liquids-bearing intervals confirmed

* Reservoir quality variable, tighter zones → completion dependent

* Flow rates demonstrated, but repeatability not yet proven

* Development requires horizontals + stimulation

* Upside contingent on scalable well performance

* Infrastructure proximity (Trans-Alaska Pipeline System) positive for economics

Overall: contingent resource; commerciality depends on consistent, repeatable flow rates.

I believe panr have a better future now than it has for a great deal of time. All hopefully good news driven for the sp. Just need to be patient for 3-4 months and let them thrash out the deal we all hope is being negotiated.
