JFF I've put together a forecast of revenue and operating profit/loss for the three divisions for half year ended 30.9.2015: Intelligence Revenue - £1.3m Op Profit - £150k Resilience Revenue - nil Op Profit/Loss - nil Cyber Revenue - £250k Op Loss - £500k Group Revenue - £1.55m Op Loss - £350k I consider these figures to be erring on conservative and reasonable taking into account all information in the public domain. As you can see I'm forecasting increased revenue growth and profit in Intelligence. Cyber is tricky to call but I'm being relatively cautious with revenue but losses substantially reduced (as one off capex drops out) and overall heading towards break even by end of calendar year as per company guidance. Cyber revenue should be growing steadily from here on in. I understand they require sales of £1.5m for break even. Once thats achieved everything should drop to the bottom line. I will be happy if my forecast is correct, even happier if its too conservative. Anyone else (MrR, Adastra, apps, panda etc) fancy having a go and we can see who is closest? ;)

In addition Falanx Assuria will be running a one hour seminar at the summit to allow interactive discussions with delegates. Wouldn't it be interesting to know which companies will be represented in their audience? Great introductory sales opportunity to companies they haven't yet had contact with. Although they are initially focusing on public sector and financial companies their solution is suitable for any company large or small with a range of offerings.

Yes it all starts to make more sense now. KB represents more the Resilence (intelligence - Stirling Assynt) side of the business. Cyber is now the core business so get someone in to focus (with the necessary expertise) on the cyber security side. And I agree that the timing is deliberate and significant. Clear the decks - get the potentially negatively interpreted stuff out the way) before Monday. We know the interims will show a loss as break even is not forecast until the end of the calendar year (though that is getting closer) It will be the current and future trading prospects/potential contracts/outlook which will be key on Monday. It will be a big day for us. I am highly optimistic.

Yes he is 66 so certainly no spring chicken. And they are not losing him completely since he will continue to assist in a consultancy capacity. As usual the market overreacts. I think there is an interesting opportunity now in terms of who they get in to guide the company in its next stage of evolution. New blood is no bad thing ;)

Sorry I didn't mean to refer to 'you' directly as I'm aware you have done your research. I was addressing the General lse audience :) What do you make of the timing of KB retirement? Not the best IMO! I suppose it's something that has been coming for a while, they knew the market wouldn't take it positively, and decided to get it out before the results? Perhaps doing it in a time of SP strength rather than weakness such as we have had recently? That would make more sense. It will also be very interesting who they manage to attract....

Thanks for the link. It illustrates the connections FLX management have in the industry and that their voice is being heard. It also demonstrates the calibre of people they have with a considerable depth and breadth of experience within all relevant industries. If you are not aware of this have a look and do some research. You will be impressed.

"hindsight traders and Johnny come latelys" Seriously, what are you talking about? We need people to buy the shares that have been sold! And quite frankly anyone who has been buying at these depressed levels is certainly not 'hindsight' ….. more 'foresight' IMHO! This company does not have a history of fleecing shareholders for cash. There have been no placings in the past three or so years. They conserve and invest cash prudently. I know the SP has been a disappointment but that is more part of a combination of the risk of investing in India and the low gold price than a reflection of failure on the part of the company. I certainly support the idea of fundraising to increase the investment in GMSI even if it involves dilution in the short term because strategically, in the longer term, the value extracted should far outweigh the cost now. Having said that you must appreciate I am not short term here, I am long term. Anyone getting in now has the potential to make a large return IMHO.

The 170k buy just gone through should have cleared any overhang from last nights 375k sell trade. Hopefully we'll start moving up again shortly. Happy enough with another 3.64% rise today though.

In case you think this is pie in the sky I'd point out that two years ago govt gave approval for public sector employees to use BYOD to access data and applications for work purposes. It seems to me extremely likely that security requirements for such devices will be tightened in the light of recent cyber attack events. The next stage will be for cyber security to be applied to BYOD and beyond that telecoms and mobile providers will be forced to follow suit in terms of their products and services. There is an opportunity here that goes way beyond the scope of what is even being discussed currently. I'm not saying that Flx will win that opportunity necessarily (though I earnestly hope they do) but I am saying the market opportunity is there and very few people have cottoned on yet. Some companies are going to make a huge amount from these coming developments.

With the plethora of personal mobile devices and tablets now being used by employees for work purposes brings another major dilemma for employers. If you are going to protect your network from cyber attack what cyber security strategy are you going to employ for BYOD? Falanx, as the CEO John Blamire has already stated, already have protective monitoring software solution that is compatible with mobiles etc. He has stated that they have already held discussions with certain telecoms providers regarding the possibility of a partnership. Developments are expected in 2016. I regard any progress in this area as a massive Brucie bonus if it happens. But can you imagine the implications further down the road if it does? The possibilities are massive. Protective monitoring for individual consumers to protect your personal data? Why not?

I see, therefore I beg your pardon and thanks again for your thoughts as a long term follower of this company. I feel you are though perhaps a little harsh. After all the company is consistently profitable, pays a dividend and has no debt. Not bad for an AIM outfit! On your last point I look at technicals and fundamentals when assessing companies. I don't agree with your view that by looking at the past you can accurately forecast the future. I see very encouraging technical signals from the SP here and, allied to solid fundamentals, my personal adage is "The SP is always telling you a story" Bull points: Record EBITDA pending (IMO) Revenues growing healthily Costs controlled rigourously SP at multi year high New product coming on stream I'm not expecting a multi bagger but I do expect a good return. All looks fine to me.

Yes indeed and worth pointing out the previous share price high was unconnected to the emergence of cyber security. It was the market focusing on another area of FLX business, Resilience, whereby a large hoped for contract did not materialise for various reasons. This is the Consultancy arm of the business and who knows, with everyone now focusing on the cyber security division this could, out of the blue, throw up a surprise contract or two! Its in there for free basically because there are little or no ongoing operating costs

As I suggested earlier MM's were clearly attempting a tree shake which failed miserably. No one sold. No one was flushed out. So they had to take it straight back up again once buyers re-entered. Indeed we have seen a sharp intra day reversal. Very bullish and we hit another new recent high in the emerging uptrend. Not ramp, this is just fact.

In the relative absence of buyers this morning looks like a very opportunistic shake being undertaken. Important day next Monday so looks like a great opportunity to buy on a dip to me.

Another closing high on the new uptrend. Sentiment is reversing, volume is rising, technicals are looking good. The results next week will show a loss in the half year to 30 Sept BUT I believe the accompanying trading statement/outlook statement since period end will be bullish with management very optimistic about all parts of the business specifically Cyber. All the media coverage of Talk Talk, Vodafone etc etc cyber attacks brings it into focus for ALL companies and if it wasn't being discussed in their boardrooms before you can bet it is now.

I understand there are people with much higher averages but What is the alternative? You tell me? You could just hope bgml will come off but gmsi gives us all a second bite at the cherry. If they Don't proceed with the investment and long term shareholders with a higher average will lose an opportunity to try and rescue some longer term value through gmsi. If you invest here you are taking a risk and if people didn't realise that then perhaps they shouldn't be investing in high risk penny shares.

MM's dropping the bid but Ask hasn't budged at all. Little tree shake hasn't flushed much out. I always remember an ex-MM telling me that if they drop the bid but the Ask stays put you know its a 'faux' fall. Lets see what happens next.
