For a bird in hand , one could look at Albemarle, SQM, Pilbara, Allkem to name a few. For near term production one can look at Lithium Americas , whose project in Argentina should be in production by year end

Yes. They definitely have an interest. It’s a double edge sword. A govt stake could oil the wheels for all the permits etc question is at what price? Ghana economy is in terrible shape at the moment. Just downgraded by rating agencies

It’s not exciting at all. Many are severely under water as a result of over enthusiastic hype by a number of commentators when the shares were at around 20p level. Most will have to wait many years to get their money back let alone make a decent profit.

Very long stretch to believe “big boys are throwing everything at GGP to undermine it”. The more likely scenario is that many long term holders who bought in single figures are steadily reducing their holdings

At some stage it doesn’t matter if there is a million tons of gold at depth. Commercially it becomes unfeasible at a certain depth.

What would constitute a ‘decent’ upgrade?

There are no large buyers because the institutions are waiting to see the DFS. Costs to get gold out 2/3 km under the ground could be very high indeed making the phrase “open at depth” meaningless

Wonder how costs would explode the deeper you have to go beneath 2 km??? May not be feasible at all to mine even if there is gold there

Would be nice if all the knowledgeable people on this board could tell us how deep can the mine go commercially? And what happens to costs when you are 2 kilometres underground?

They have always said production in 2025?

If GGP needs more money they should get it through paying a NSR rather than diluting existing shareholders

2025 is a long way away and therein lies the problem

If the share price is so damn cheap why aren’t the institutions jumping in now?
