With the share options now in the picture, I suppose it’s too complicated to spin off the gold interests. Makes more sense if they sell the gold assets, strengthen IRR balance sheet with the proceeds and then offload it. I don’t know. Certainly IRR becomes more attractive if they put it up for sale. VM has committed to remain for at least two years.

It’s the timing. There is absolutely no clue as to timeline to production. Also the huge uncertainty of Ganfeng/ BCN bid and what that means for Znwd

I have no idea who rakubaku is but you seem to have a poor attitude to opinions different to yours. You’re right - there is no production in sight for 4 years.That’s a very long time and that’s the whole point.

Does this lady have China experience? If not, she’s probably the wrong choice.

I think it’s investors who bought cheap taking profits. The problem with this share is that new investors have the luxury of time on their side and only buy on dips. 4 long years to go till production.

After Ganfeng buys Bacanora, they will either make a full bid for Zinnwald ( could be politically difficult) or sell their stake to a European major like VW.

How will that help BCN shareholders?

Share price is down about 20% after a 100% rise the week before. Normal retracement. Zinnwald managed to do a good deal with the Administrators who owned 50%. There is considerable upside for the Administrators as they were paid in shares. Now that the uncertainty has been lifted, it is likely that VW will do some sort of deal. Bacanora own 35% of Zinnwald. If Ganfeng go ahead and buy Bacanora, it is likely to sell its stake in Zinnwald. It will be too politically contentious for a Chinese company to buy Zinnwald.

What do you wish to know about Zinnwald?

I keep a tiny holding of IRR to remind myself that there is some good here and the company has good prospects in the long term. In the short term most of my money is in other lithium companies

Who’s talking about Brine v Rock? That’s a whole different subject. I was challenged to give names of companies which I thought had better prospects. All those names in my opinion will do better then IRR in the short term.

Thing is, IRR is not located in the most stable mining jurisdiction in the world and has not found one of the biggest gold discoveries of the last decade. IRR has already gone up a lot. Naah, I’ll wait for the dips. Plenty of time before production…..

Take a look at Standard Lithium, Lithium Americas, Neolithium, SQM, Zinnwald to name a few. Never heard of them? Why doesn’t that surprise me?

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. The market can remain irrational for a lot longer than you can remain solvent. Perhaps when you’ve experienced a beating in this share you might be more cautious about your posts

Does anyone know what is the capex likely to be for this project? I don’t think there is a country risk here but if they issue millions of shares to finance the capex the share price is in grave danger
