These are hard negotiators and doubt have any intention of selling Zinnwald. Don’t forget Ganfeng has lots of long term contracts with the likes of VW. When BCN goes through Ganfeng will hold all the cards and can dictate what happens at Zinnwald

But that’s the problem. EVERYBODY believes it’s going to be 15m oz minimum. But there’s plenty of people here who bought in that belief in the 20’s and 3O’s and have been nursing significant paper losses for last few months. Since the project is completely derisked as far as I can tell why isn’t the price 50p? Maybe there’s a whole set of other people who don’t think there are 15m oz? Or they think the risks are far higher?

How deep can modern mining go? It’s already a very deep mine and I imagine costs go up exponentially the deeper you go.

Are we any wiser why GH left suddenly? Was it friendly or unfriendly?

Clearly large long term holders are selling out. That’s the only group who would have bought millions of this share sub tuppence. The II’s are not selling and neither are investors who bought in the 20-35p range

Nothing will happen until the Adminstrators of Solarworld decide to sell their 50%. If I was the Administrator I would sell it to the highest bidder but not quite sure what is the legal position with Erris’s original option to buy

Would any of the experts like to say how deep they can mine commercially? In other words what’s the cut off depth for commercial mining?

@socialist. I am not saying that we would have got 50 mill for a JV with another major at PRE/ Black hills. With a share price that’s up 1000’s of percent a small placing would have been the way to go. And Libor+ EIGHT?? That’s not a friendly gesture between partners. That’s rubbing your face in it. No I’m afraid we’ve signed up to a master/slave relationship. Still, water under the bridge now. Do you think GH abrupt departure has anything to do with this deal?

One thing none of you talk about is that instead of doing Juri JV with NC they could have done it with any other major on better terms. After all isn’t this supposed to be the best postcode in the world?Seems to me that NC must have done some severe arm twisting to get that Juri deal, not the best start to a partnership. Furthermore, is it possible that GH’s abrupt departure had something to do with this being a bad deal?

There is the small matter of 50% of the project shares in the hands of the Administrator. Nothing will happen until this is sorted

@trucky James has a point. If the new guy has been brought in to mine Scally then a placing is inevitable at some stage. Not now but when they’re ready to mine

50% of Zinnwald shares are held by the Administrator in bankruptcy proceedings. Somebody needs to buy these shares before this project will move

Not a Geologist so this might seem naive to some of you BUT why would NC start on this if there is no Decision to Mine yet?

@gothe distance the stock market is a forward looking indicator. The market believes that the indicated resource in the future will be 3x or 4x the inferred resource not to mention scally , PRE, Blackhills, etc

@enteleon If I was the administrator of SolarW I would wait 6 months before I put this on the block. I am concerned at potential delays to the project due to this administration
