Does anyone know what’s happening to this stake? Once ownership of this stake is confirmed we’ll be at 50p

Large holding here but really tempted to take some profits and add to Lithium miners. Lithium prices predicted to rocket next year whereas holding Gold is like watching paint dry. Does anyone have a view on Gold v Lithium prices?

Thing is dodge, you may be a geologist. I’m not and happy to admit that. But you haven’t answered why a takeover is a bad thing? Chill. Nobody is going to take us over now anyway.

What’s wrong with a hostile takeover? There would probably be a bidding war and you’d get cash in hand today instead of waiting 20 yrs to get ‘full value’.

I see nothing terrific about giving away 75% of PRE and BH for peanuts. Given the Pilbara and Paterson area are the hottest thing in mining at the moment, all they had to do was wait until someone made a silly offer

What’s wrong with a hostile takeover? As far as I’m concerned GGP should be put on the auction block and sold to the highest bidder. They had no business giving away 75% of very valuable land which everyone says is highly prospective. As you say they just had to wait and let PRE and BH dormant until someone came along and offered a silly price.

@socialist What’s wrong with a bank loan? NAB or Mcquarie would have done one cheaper then 8%. NC have even had the cheek to secure the loan. NC is desperate to start digging given no ore at Telfer. Time was with us and against NC. No, I’m afraid it was a poor negotiation. NC didn’t even give us a nominal sum for the 1st 25% of PRE and BH! This must be the cheapest deal NC has ever done. Quite pathetic really

65m for 70% of a Tier 1 asset with no cost for processing plant. A lousy 20m for 75% of PRE and Blackhills. To add insult to injury 8% interest on the loan to GGP. GH totally failed to realise its NC that are desperate to start digging, not us. He can consider adding Lord Frost to the board to negotiate properly.

It looks like they are getting 25% for free and a further 50% by spending a lousy 20 mill. Doesn’t sound like a good deal to me

Hmmm. If this is such a great project why wouldn’t any bank grant a loan considerably cheaper than 8%? Wonder if GH made the effort to get a cheaper bank loan?

You cannot slice up a Roller. The current market cap is based on the expectation that Hav will be 15m++oz plus there will be other discoveries on this very valuable land
