The Share price has nothing to do with Tullow or the Board, it’s in name only. Tullow sold it’s shares at IPO, that was their exit strategy. It’s price managed by the Industry for their benefit & their clients. The clients should be obvious to all here. This is the stock lent to move the SP. There is currently an order in the Book at 25p. The stock might spike down over the next few trading sessions to fill it or it might just be used as a Floor reference price. At some point next Month the bias switch will be thrown on the price control Algo. If not the Board will be celebrating Tullow exiting the FT250 at the AGM. Courtesy of the very people that manage the listing for them. It is possible that the Industry are trying to force sector consolidation. All activity generates profit for them. Either way Tullow should be back at around 60p later this year, because that’s the way this works.

As you will be aware those ‘in-the-know’ have kindly informed us that the stock will be price managed to 25p & back to 61p.

Has the value gone for good but if not where has it gone & where will it return from ? Something to ponder perhaps..… because you wont find the answers on the net.

Only a matter of time before the Industry start taking these stocks back up. Probably starting next Week. All the ducks are in place & lined up. Hidden in plain view.

Small Industry move down in ultra low volume offering an opportunity for anyone to buy a small quantity of the Short sold Long stock. Any takers ….

I would say that if this automated process continues into next Month then they may as well cancel the AGM because there wont be much of a Co left to comment on. I understand why the Industry are doing this but the timing stinks.

Patel hi, I’m surprised that your not highlighting next Months AGM. What do you think the SP might be by then: 30p+, 25, 20 ,15 or less ? Do you think the Board attending will need a defensive screen and will they be contacting their listing contact to ask what the hell is going on with the SP ?

Slater, based on the maths I was expecting 26.96p today. If the Industry continue taking this down by the time of next Months AGM the SP will be around 20p. Which would be a fun AGM. Can’t see that with Oil where it is. That said, whatever it takes to make money off PI’s. Which is what this is about.

That’s also assuming the Shorts ‘that are visible’ are being used the way Joe Public thinks they are. The Shorts that are hidden in plain view, are not.

If you was informed how the Industry use Shorts, you probably wouldn’t believe it, because it’s ‘opposite’ to what you think. Shorts are used in many ways throughout the day.

June 2023 Futures contract. The last day of the proceeding contract, May in this case is usually very low volume so susceptible to large moves. You can’t sell Futures the only way to close it is by buying an opposite position, thus the increase in volume. Otherwise known as Short covering.

New Contract starts trading tomorrow. There was a lot of volume traded just before the close around $77, which might signal a rise tomorrow, we will see.

Nothing about the Stock Market is what you think it is. The only way to do this properly is to receive Industry in house training, in this very specific area, have decades of experience & keep up with the current market structure & regulation ie MIFID 2. Then you will understand the mechanics, who is working the stock, how & what their objective is. If you want to know speak to someone that works in the Industry. You wont find the answers on the Internet or these General Public bb’s.

I would say that Barclay’s have lowered their target due to the low PI participation. Which is normal due to a 12 Month downward Trend. If / when the stock starts to recover & is noticed, PI participation should increase. Known as External-Capital-Inflows. In this case & dependant on values involved the target may be increased. The Timeline looks to be around 12 Months.

Down today on fears of a mild US Recession later this year…. Possibly Q4. Meanwhile Oil & Stock Index’s continue to rally.

That is correct, however most stocks are worked for professionally managed accounts. TLW has a FT250 big stock set up but trades as a low volume AIM stock. In part due to the low volume PI participation. This is inevitable as the DIY Traders & Investors are not aware of the circumstances & thus reduce in numbers. As a result the Market Cap reduces over time. Same trading model but with less & less Market Cap to work.
