What you say is true but I does seem to an oddo thing for this particular firm to do. If it was a US hedge fund - yes but this firm is even not that experienced the London market.

True. But from cursory look doesn't seem that type of company but not done detailed look. Especially as deal could unravel. But again who knows...

Plus some cost for the transaction. It would not seem to be their thing reading the info. Value investors that act for institutional investors is main business. Financial services sector highlighted as an area of expertise. Who knows...

It was a real blow to see the share rise this morning and then to find the reason. Been with since October 2013 and had got my b/e down to above on ca 300k shares. Thought it was the 1st Finkit customer announcement. Hope for hostile bid but not optimistic. Will think about vote decision but agree with below - management have 'gone'.
