In 2022 share was over £12. I’m ca. 50% down. This was very highly regarded company in a lucrative business with a good moat. The company has been run into the ground by poor management in the extreme.
That price would be nice albeit well in the red. But analysis sounds like drivel to me. But I guess if has made x below a multi millionaire who am to query?
I fear that the price will drop back next week. While getting rid of that useless CEO especially was good and the new appointments seem good. There is no real redefining news. What will provide a stable underpinning if higher prices is news related to cashflow and profits. LT term holder currently 70% adrift. I’m not putting in any more. Just hoping to get my money back. Anything else will be cream.
Hi, Has anybody else (tried to) read the above. I have waded through and what I take from it isthat is a way that Levene and Mathews (and no doubt some other happy free loaders) can pay themself twice for the same job while creatively broadening other ways that they can reward themselves. Or am I wrong?
Totally agree. I was in the industry and the mess that has been made is negligent on the extreme. To have actual gas reserves on the NS near infrastructure. A reasonably easy development. Yes the government but I’m afraid ‘the business’ always operates in difficult circumstances etc. They are walking away with a steal. . A company could come in with double the price and still get a very good deal. Might happen I suppose…..
Well we are going to be put out of misery - albeit on a 88% loss to me. A LT holder going back to Cluff in 2013. I’m sure there have been longer holders. It has been a long story here full of periodic ups and downs My ‘favourite’ period was overseen by Swindels. Haha. A few thousand lost - disappointing but not a disaster.
It takes a special incompetence to not be doing well in the cyber security business at this time. Almost unbelievable. It is amusing that the business that has increasing revenue is the one they are looking to sell. I hope the active investor is very active in getting the management to up their game. Long time holder pleased at now no debt and the flexibility that brings. But this company would seem ripe for takeover.
Am I reading this right? The discussion goes on but Blackstone will not put in a higher offer save if a third party comes in but may bid lower, same or walk away?
