A tranche of new licences were granted yesterday - anyone know if JOG was amongst the awardees? Charts notwithstanding of course, it could explain yesterday’s welcome SP bounce.

You forgot to mention that he is right, though. They did lose a decade in both time and costs and indeed JMAT is suffering both on the balance sheet and in reputation. Some companies don’t survive such a balls up -

I think there will always be a whiff of something noxious simply due to association….. it’s one of those unfortunate things that can be seen as a beating stick for any real or imaginary gremlins.

If ML does a deal or gets off on a technicality, it won’t help Darktrace ….. personally I think only total exoneration will do and even then there will always be someone with something to say. As his CFO is currently in jail in the US it’s difficult to see a positive outcome for ML.

With Darktrace, if you invest you do so knowing this history of origin and make the call as to whether you think it a hiccough or a deal breaker. Darktrace is battling on and the more they face down, the stronger and hopeful more investable they become. They do seem to be pulling away from the detractors….

UBS cuts International Consolidated Airlines Group price target to 175 (190) pence - 'neutral'

Barclays raises IAG price target to 250 (230) pence - 'overweight'

Bernstein raises IAG price target to 190 (180) pence - 'outperform'

RBC cuts IAG price target to 195 (210) pence - 'sector perform'

Late after trading hours RNS on Friday …..Richard Griffiths increasing his holding. Could be the reason for the sudden 14% jump on Friday and the pare back this morning……. Maybe the market was expecting something more than just an increase in holding.

This is not a back room boiler company - putting out an RNS is a serious thing that carries implications and consequences.

No company in their right mind would issue a scam RNS….. it just wouldn’t pass compliance or legal for starters…..

£1 billion is a lot of research spend, abandoned. The effects will clearly continue to be felt for some time and not just on the balance sheet - it would have been good if the knowledge gained was useful to someone who might have been willing to pay for it to mitigate, at least in part but it sounds like others were already further down the road and JM were already late to the party.

But they are still here and are back in the fight…..

14% up on no news?

He is steadily increasing his holding….. added over 3% since March and now holds 15.12% . That’s a healthy chunk. Wonder what his ultimate plan for the company is……

FTSE has been down all day and is now just starting to pull back though still at a loss. Darktrace up all day - now by just under 3%. I will happily take that as a positive reaction, especially considering so many companies have recently reported growth, increase in profits, lower debt/capex and an increase or reinstatement of dividend and their SP has tanked.

Haven’t checked the SP for a bit….. what did I miss? Or is it just more of the same ?

Never mind coffee - I need something much stronger. I’ll get loads and share it with BOD & management - hopefully that will wake them up.
