The stand out passage to me was :

It’s still very much in the ‘building’ phase rather than consolidation. The market will not reward at this stage and I think anyone looking for a quick rerate will be disappointed. They need to be allowed to build, consolidate, expand and that doesn’t happen overnight and it costs…. They are not anticipating cash flow break even until moving into 2025 - their revenue stream is very curtailed and limited so patience is required.

Do I think they can do it? Yes.

Do I think they will do it? Yes

But it won’t be linear and it may get a bit sticky…..

Fordm…..The daft thing is it’s really a rhetorical question as if I was going to do it - again - I would have done so this AM. I think…..ha! I have some pennies with which to play but I do think IAG will come good, in time. Averaging down will only reduce my average by no more than 15% so I guess I need to decide if I’m going to do it to cut and run at break even or hang about till at least end of 2025….. they say it’s the exception that proves the rule, and this is the only share about which I get myself all in a tizzy. Bizarre really…..

(And you are spot-on…… anyone who says they don’t pay for sex isn’t ‘married’ in whatever form that takes. Don’t get me started on the shoes, the manicures, the hair appointmentS etc…. Never seems to buy paracetamol for the headaches though…..)

Anyone else on here, struggling with that age old trading dilemma of whether or not to average down - again- …..? I keep coming back to this with this share, and I am none the wiser today.

I wish I could see the positivity you see in that update but I just don’t think it’s there. There was nothing in it we didn’t already know and nothing to improve cash generation. It’s going to take time before institutional investors give this another look……

That said I do think it’s important for Cirata to just reiterate consolidation and to reaffirm that the status quo is being currently being maintained. The are still paying penance, if you like - for want of a better expression and they won’t be forgiven overnight. These things can take a long time. But if you believe in the company and can afford to buy in then now is a good time….. but I wouldn’t expect a full rerate ant time soon. This share has a long way to go before then…..

Not sure this will move the SP forwards ….. markets don’t tend to reward “ in line with expectation “ updates. Green shoots maybe but this will be a long period of stabilisation which is to be expected after the horror show of H1.

I thought they may have had additional &/or new contracts to announce from earlier hints but it appears not…..

I can only think you are talking about an RNS that informs on the holdings in the company ……

If so, basically look at the first boxed section….on the left it should say “Resulting situation on the date on which threshold was crossed or reached” and in the adjacent box it should give a % of voting rights held in shares. The next box along gives a % of voting rights held in other financial instruments, such as CFD’s and the third box gives a total of those 2 percentages added together. Final box gives the total number of voting rights as a total, not a %.

The corresponding 4 boxes that run underneath simply show the PREVIOUS number of shares before this declaration so you can see whether the company holding the shares is adding to their holding or reducing. While the figures may look similar they will highlight a change from the previously held position. Sometimes they are negligible but at others, they indicate a substantial difference in holdings.

That’s just a very basic description…… if you read through some of them further on they do go into detail about the holdings and more detailed info, such as what date CFD’s are due etc……

Hi….. if you have a look at the company interim results posted via RNS on the 11th of October, you will see that a lot of government departments including social housing, NHS et cetera, have deferred decisions on expenditure and delayed the start of works already agreed with Eneraqua and those decisions have affected current as well as forward trading and cash flow. Makes more sense for you to read the RMS through yourself as there is quite a lot to digest in there.

Capex is now estimated to be 30m less than previously reported but at £140m over the last 12 months, that’s a figure I believe needs to come down. That’s not just updating or upgrading……… that’s more like development or continuous development and is not sustainable when you have an SP in the penny stock range.

So at least CAPEX is expected to be

“……..encouragingly beauty has turned to growth in September” yet last interim he stated beauty returned to growth at the start of August as quoted directly from the 14th September RNS “Encouragingly, since the start of August, the Beauty division has returned to growth ” .

Might be a small detail but details matter and it goes to integrity……

“Whilst Enterprise sales cycles have been longer than anticipated in THG Ingenuity…….” Now that’s an understatement of some magnitude….but at least CAPEX is anticipated to be

The only other occasion I can ever recall such a last minute notification was when Darktrace had to bring forward their trading update because the Telegraph reported that Thoma Bravo was in discussion re a possible buyout. (It came to nothing but CEO stated they had to change plans at the 11th hour because of the media speculation)

Not saying this is the same reason here but it’s unusual to give no notice to the market …… no one likes a smart ar*e so I just hope THG isn’t playing silly bu**ers and being contrary. Hopefully they will actually issue a professional and thorough trading update in full, rather than waffle.

Such a fine line between anticipation & dread….. I feel both, in equal measure.

It’s not virtue signalling - Outreach is usually written in to such contracts between governments and business - almost mandatory in lesser developed/ developing nations. And business is more than happy to get involved - it fosters good relations and removes accusations of big business coming along and “raping” the natural resources.
