The pupils of Littlehampton Academy , a school for ages 11-18 in West Sussex UK), have suggested that :
"Global Governance, broadly, refers to the various ways in which social life is co-ordinated, of which government is merely one. Global governance refers to the various processes through which decision-making and co-operation at a global level is facilitated, operating through multilateral systems of regulation. At the heart of the emerging system of global governance is the UN and its various bodies, together with the institutions of global economic governance, notably the WTO, the World Bank and the IMF. Rather than imposing their will on individual states, the processes provide the framework for the development of intergovernmental relationships, reflecting a growing acceptance of global interdependence. Global governance does not only involve intergovernmental bodies, but also the participation of non-governmental actors such as NGOs, national corporations, global capital markets, citizens’ movements and so on".
Okay, Paul...but give us all a clue...what do you expect to unfold? At least most "end-of-the-world" predictions put a date on the event.
If our former Secretary of State (Tillerson) can so brand Trump, I don't feel bad about similarly branding your man Pieczenik who has claimed that Osama Bin Laden had died of Marfan syndrome in 2001 shortly after the September 11 attacks, and that the attacks on the United States on 9/11 were part of a false flag operation by entities within the American government. He also slammed President Barack Obama by calling him an "obsessional pathological liar.”
Yes, I accept that there is much dislike of the USA across the world, Joe Biden is determined to address that....but the thing is that the applications to immigrate here haven't slowed down any.....even under Trump!
You just watch Bo-Jo climb down over his Internal Market Bill. Imho he was a wannabe Trump anyway....or maybe now he doesn't.
Anyway...more to the point... Care to predict Ariana's sp by Autumn 2021?
Thanks for that, John, and what is being said in Nevada (and maybe Arizona too) is that "On November the Third we flushed a Turd ! "
It seems, DEANO, that your "Emperor" has now lost his clothes and all your rhetoric, including your current mention of moronic Steve Piezcenik), brands you as a real big girl's blouse notwithstanding your twerking FlashHeart "hero" together with your sick jibes about octogenarians and even some of our fellow contributors on this site. So.... since you like to direct folks to websites from time time....I will reciprocate especially for you with Jimmy Kimmel, in keeping with current events.

Do bear in mind also that the previous US Administration did not reckon much to Brexit and even suggested that the UK might find itself at the end of the queue if it went down that path and subsequently felt it was entitled to a "Special Relationship" in re-negotiating trade deals with Washington. Don't be surprised if Joe Biden soon heads for Berlin. I also think you were wrong to dismiss the influence of Ursula von der Leyen and Sir Keith Starmer (both of whom I suggested would be rising stars in the political world. I'll even include Rishi Sunak too.)
Paul - You are loquacious and do contribute some very good views on this board about Turkey and both mining and financial matters. I can accept that you may well have different politIcal thinking (or even background) to myself but I really cannot understand why you want to diminish your stature by indulging in prevarication or even provocation....unless of course you get "kicks" from trolling. Do not, however, expect me to regularly respond to your whims. After all, today's news is rather a special and splendid occasion for many of us on this side of the pond. Let's hope that the stock exchanges around the world will now settle down somewhat, gold will continue to rise and Ariana shares will indeed look much better by Christmas.
Hi John and nice to see you with a post on here again. I was somewhat concerned for you. The same is true for Raredragon who has also been absent after quite a regular flow. I am not sparring with Deano - clearly he does not support a divdend and I do.
No one has joined me in this chat since my last posting nearly a year ago. It's certainly been a good investment. Better I think backing royalty companies instead of waiting for the "jam tomorrow" from minnow miners or oilies going bust in Africa & Asia.
Hi napthman and the last part of the interview about royalties underlines my own reason (as a Nevada resident) for choosing to move many of my investments into royalty companies instead of embryo miners . where you wait for years before getting a good return on your investment while they keep on exploring & drilling, thus at best diluting your stock values with placements to fund themselves to eventual protection or, at worst, their personal lifestyle. Our AAU is imho one of the few exceptional firms on AIM and all credit to Dr K and his team.
However I'don't understand, napthman, where royalties come in since they are paid out, sometimes for the life of the mine, to royalty companies and not to shareholders who are paid through "dividends".
Finally a cautionary note about the guy being interviewed E. B. Tucker whom you have recommended us to watch. For me he is too "hyper" and we would certainly clash politically. (The website "show" started on my version,(presumably aimed at the US viewer, with a political ad featuring the infamous Sarah Palin.....ugh). Anyway, I suggest, with no disrespect, that you also take a peek at..... https://legendarywallet.com/what-are-gold-placements/ Regards, DJ
Shares still going up in spite of some doom & gloom predictions. There isn't really a better alternative form of travel available.
C'mon....knock it off! We've all got our "hopefuls" but there is no point in putting forward mines which have made someone else a bundle already and might now be levelling off or even ripe for a downward turn. One hiccup (be it political or some unforeseen disaster and you are knocked down the pan). Hindsight is a wonderful (and sometimes boastful) thing. This is all about being impatient and restless while Ariana creeps slowly upwards. Just stay put, folks and sit calmly awaiting a beautiful dawn with AAU. The "oldies" here can recognize where I'm coming from. Dr. KS (and his team) have never promised "jam tomorrow" like so many "lifestyle wannabee" CEOs on AIM over the years..
Napthman - you mentioned UFO. Look at the roots of that bloodline - formerly Arian Silver - and see what happened to its punters (including myself ...and I saw the light and jumped ship early! ). Of course that's not to say there will be a repeat (says I to cover my butt)..
If you want to try a little DYOR, perhaps increase your spread and yet stay clear of the Dark Continent, Asia, Outer Slobodia or somewhere underneath Yorkshire....you might take a peek at Alamos Gold or Argonaut Gold. Or you could just stay with our Salinbas future right here and see what might be on the future menu for Cyprus as well. Regards, DJ
Hello RD2U. I'm rather miffed with my UK broker...they want me to do all the research and work out facts and numbers for them to act as nominee - the sort of thing that my American brokers do as a regular service to clients. For "two pins"I'd tell 'em to "shove it" but it's very difficult to swap to another UK broker (or bank) if you are US resident (or national).
Generally I don't pay much for a bottle of wine ...maybe $5 for a white zinfandel or $10 for a Gewurztraminer (Columbia Valley, Washington State - a pre-2016 Chateau Ste Michelle (if I can find one locally). Red wine doesn't sit too good for me but occasionally I'll go for a Chilean or even French Mouton Cadet. Right now the Mexicans are clearing vast acres of Sonora and Baja California to expand their wine industry. Some of the Guadalupe Valley stuff is getting very nice but their prices aren't competitive with a comparable US slurp.
I'm still just under 50C here in the south western desert. We're aiming for the north west tip of that Peach State or more likely its neighbor SC. It's cooler in the "upstate"(foothills0. Coastal is diabolically humid in Summer. The problem right now is that our US mortgage/loan rates are so low and with the Covid-19 situation there is a very limited choice of houses being offered.. Consequently houses are being snapped up almost as soon as they are listed. I'm 2500 miles away from the action so I've no chance of getting imto things in time. Still the weather should be more bearable here in about 6 weeks and I might as well enjoy a warmer winter and hope by next Spring that you people can supply us with an effective vaccine. I have been under permanent quarantine since April ( 'cos I have to cross a State boundary and return back everytime I need food, milk or prescriptions made up.). Now you are going to be in the same predicament if you go to buy booze in Calais (lol).
I certainly hope SSL (or SAND in our case) has nowhere near reached its full value. With its Hod Maden jv the future should be just as hopeful as our Salinbas. I'd lay off the "pot" too. I made okay with cdh only to get burnt with TLRY. Serves me right...I sold off my high-flying airline (VLRS) shares because I listened to a popular tipster firm saying the industry was doomed. It promptly gained 25%. Normally when Motley Tool or British BS extols something...I get rid of it asap!
I did think the gold bubble had fizzled out earlier but it's moving up again. A nice RNS or two from Kerim plus positive voting for the 24th and maybe we'll get a dividend hint to push us over 6p. (or even more...thinking greedily!) Have a Great Weekend ya'all.
Howdy Safetyman! You're around 6,500 miles adrift...I'm in the Mohave Desert - about 200 miles south of Death Valley, California. That's even hotter at around 52C. At least we don't get many flies....the heat kills them! Wishing WRES would go up somewhat but at least gold has gone up again. Anyway...Bedtime for me.
50C I meant for Sunday.
45C here, amigos, with 50F forecasted for Sunday. Blue skies and sunny.....must be summer but we've had no rain now for 118 days so garden ain't doing too well. Invested again for hopefully third time lucky if MM gets it right!
https://www.sonomacounty.com/articles/history-chardonnay. Enjoy the weekend and......Cheers!
"So the current stance is hold, to sell a few at 5p if you want and then hold tightly, for the top of this run could easily breach 10p and maybe more, if the gold price plays ball." Seems a good plan, VanVan, especially as that was my own aspirations about 18 months ago with a target of 3p...except they've been overtaken by events !
