Next round of Ukraine-Russia talks in Turkey - Ukrainian negotiator
The next round of face-to-face negotiations between Ukraine and Russia will take place in Turkey, starting tomorrow, one of the Ukrainian negotiators says.

David Arakhamia says on Facebook the talks will take place from Monday to Wednesday.

Ukraine described previous talks with Russia since the start of the invasion last month as "very difficult".

The first round of talks between the two teams of negotiators took place in Belarus, which is Russia's ally, but Turkey has played a part in the diplomatic attempts to end the war, with the Russian, Ukrainian and Turkish foreign ministers meeting in Antalya earlier this month

Thanks Tilly, certainly getting positive signs from Ukraine so fingers crossed that’s all resolved soon and we should see a decent rerate with the SP. Then our BOD and their advisors need to get some positive news released and this deal completed ASAP.

Sky news are saying this which could be great news;
India and China want immediate ceasefire in Ukraine, Indian foreign minister says
India and China have agreed on the importance of an immediate ceasefire in Ukraine, Indian Foreign Minister Subrahmanyam Jaishankar said today after holding talks with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi.
Both countries are significant allies of Russia and have rejected Western calls for condemnation of its invasion of Ukraine.
International observers continue to look closely for any sign of shifts in their stances towards Moscow .
US President Joe Biden previously told China's president of the "implications and consequences" Beijing would face if it gave Russia material support for its war in Ukraine, as Xi Jinping said the conflict needs to end as soon as possible.

Travis; they said suspended the purchase of any Russian securities. I don’t think that means they are selling any existing holdings but that’s just my reading into it.

Mac; I don’t think anyone’s disputing the appointments or the potential of the company. What people are questioning is why are the BOD taking so long with everything. It’s obvious they are sitting on important details which for whatever reason (only known to them) they are not releasing to the shareholders. If you honestly don’t see that or agree then that’s up to you but to say shareholders are “wobbling” is a bit blinkered. Look at the performance over the last year or so and ask yourself why has the SP dropped so much with a company that has such amazing assets & potential.

Mr Basse, why should people have to sell up. I’ve been waiting 29 months for the BOD to sell something, it’d be pretty stupid to sell when news “may” be released anytime. If your not bothered with the lack of clear updates then that’s fine. Everyone has different circumstances and I’d personally like to know what’s happening so I can make a decision based on facts from our BOD not by guessing.

Mac; I agree with you 100% on our PGM’s etc been safe from sanctions. Do you think it makes the BODs silence even more strange?

The communications from the BOD have never been very good. I appreciate they’re doing a great job building their empire but all the good work has been undone by p1ss poor communications to shareholders and the lack of a sale of anything! How do they expect the market to put a realistic value on the company when so much is unknown.

Stej; they have officially told us in an RNS we are NOT affected by the war! Are you saying that isn’t true and the BOD are lying?

The BOD need to clarify where we are at with everything. There’s been so many things happened that we just have no idea about, suspension, FSP, NOMAD resignation, written offer, credible party, EUA v1, EUA v2, Rosgeo Licences, JORC’s. The use of certain words “shortly” in RNS’s has only led to more confusion for shareholders. The BOD need to seriously get their act together with communications. To put shareholder through all this over the last two years and yet ask us to remain calm in the current climate by a tweet is insulting our intelligence. One decently worded, comprehensive & factual RNS would change everything but they seem incapable of providing that. We’ve supposedly got top lawyers working on our behalf yet they continually produce vague, amateur RNS’s which leave us all guessing what they actually mean.

Mac; the DD RNS was 144 days ago, I’d say that’s plenty time to complete a deal. If not I’d suggest an update on the current status is required. There’s a very worrying trend developing which is a lack of updates from our BOD wouldn’t you agree?

Frutsels; the shortly RNS was 178 days ago and still nothing. Embarrassing statement!

Mac; they are also the only shareholders who actually know what’s going on. Tough for them, in what way? They’ve told us the company are not affected by the current sanctions so it’s BAU (unless the 2 March RNS wasn’t true) I’m sorry but they haven’t helped themselves or us through p1ss poor communications and that’s been going on since long before the Ukraine situation kicked off.

I’ve emailed Keith as well, feel sorry for him as he’s the one who has got to speak/reply to the shareholders. The BOD have had more than enough time to get something announced but haven’t, that’s a very poor reflection on them.
