Me? No...I meant I am out of the stock market now...SPHR is my only holding but it is not on the stock market anymore...
I'm out too.. This is my only holding now.... Will invest in a lotto ticket from here on in each week...:-)
So thats that!!!
The warrants give me some hope that we may get some updates...although they are really only geared for Woodford/Wales fund...as I would be very surprised if anybody else took CPS. Not sure if we would be informed of any take up of warrants..
I understood the 8% coupon for the CPS...was been paid each year with shares. And it starts from year one. Could be wrong.
This from their update today..... Sphere Medical Sphere Medical has been a publicly-listed business since 2011, and has been held as a position in the Patient Capital portfolio since April 2015. Since then, the company has progressed broadly according to plan, successfully developing and launching its miniature blood gas analyser, Proxima. Despite this progress, its share price has steadily declined, reflecting a lack of institutional investor interest in early-stage, science-based businesses, almost regardless of the quality of their technology. As a result, the company no longer sees any benefit to being a quoted company and on 21 August, it announced it was pursuing a delisting. We continue to recognise the investment potential of Proxima, particularly the 4th generation product that is currently in development, which has the potential to open up the lucrative US market. We support Sphere’s decision to delist and focus on the development of this ground-breaking product as a private business.
Back then (if my memory serves me) they came to market with a Cap of around £25 million. They had no CE for Proxima back then... They have had lots of slippage and more funding since then but at least they have a product that can be marked for selling. They are delisting with a market value less then £1 million.....In the short term they are scaling back on sales to concentrate on getting a final product version to tackle a bigger market....They are keeping both facilities, so that signals to me that they will maintain current support for present customers and use feed back to help in the final developed unit... That makes sense to me......I have picked up my last tranche of shares before delisting and will hope for a brighter future. The blood gas market is been driven by technological change...no question...and while they will still be used...I think Woodford may be looking at the not to distant future with Proxima..... In our hospital...we have begun to price blood transfusion...they cost approx...€500 per unit!!! There is also a growing shortage of blood supply, to the point that they may very well start paying instead of volunteering as is the current practice!!! Anyway all the best to the LTHs here...and the best in the future....
Palace are going to be delisted as well....LOL. Sorry JL & rugs...couldn't resist it...too few days left here so ****!!
Cellis....I still think one of the big disappointments was Ortho not taking up world wide distribution deal...We were unlucky with the timing of the Carlyle group taking a new roll in Ortho...or some thing of that nature That and direct selling were never going to make any real inroads with a new technology.... Unless the distributor has a proven name...it really is hard to get inside the doors on hospitals and even harder to get in front of the right person with the product.. With £5 million coming in...the document says that is sufficient funds for a year... But we were burning about £500,000 per month.. the monthly spend will be reduced by about 40% per month...so the spend will be about £300,000 per month. The option on the warrants stands for about 1 year...So possibly another £5 million if needed there @ 2.82p So with a reduced spend of around £3 million per anum..£10 million could possibly last over 3 years if needed..... At least that is how I am looking at it....Time will tell...
I think the traders had their spike last Friday...well looking like it.... I think to trade now would be expensive, especially for a share about to delist...When I bought mine last week I had a two day payment trade.....Not sure if you could get much volume now...no idea....I would have preferred a quicker delisting but I think under regulations there has to be a minimum number of trading days active before a cancellation.... Only 3 to endure...then it will be off the radar....As I posted earlier...I think the web site will remain open and we may get some news over the next few years....
That is what I am working of Cellis... The CPS £5 million...and perhaps the warrants next year.....I would be really surprised if any IIs or other private investors were to take up the CPS...but then it may very well appeal to some investors...the CPS certificates...in the private company...
Hardly worth bidding when the concert party have such a large stake already. Perhaps he can use the development costs as some kind of writing off within his larger group? I don't know.
Cheers JL....
rugs....did you get my email?
He was in charge at the Baggies for a while. He is a good organiser....which Palace might need at the moment.
Firstly...I have bothered to read the circular and am fully aware that it is in bold...big deal... Secondly..if you bothered to read the circular properly...you will see that Woodford is NOT putting in £5 Million as you posted.....
I understand that the web site will be maintained by SPHR....so it will be the place that I will keep book marked. As I said before...the ADVFN BB will most likely remain open long after LSE BB is gone...not that we would have much to post about JL....:-)
I have been in a past company that went through this process....that statement is there for company law purposes.....it is stating an obvious point under AIM rules. I would/wouldn't be surprised if it happened or didn't happen... This company is delisting at the close of play on the 19th of September.....I would imagine there are a few positions taken hoping for something like an offer.....but if it does not materialize...there may be a scramble to get out of those positions.........
From note 11 in the rns today..... ***LSP Life Sciences Fund NV sold its entire remaining stake in Sphere Medical on 8 September 2017.*** Entire remaining stake...could just mean what they hadn't already sole earlier....may be!!
JL..... I think the last day of trading is at the close of business on the 19th September....so still 6 long days of trading ahead of us.....
