Magoo, For what it is worth the book seems to be evens at the moment. I don't see the presence of an ice berg seller here. My own view is that the trade off between potential flippers and Acacia (if they have any left), has killed off the volume for now. This is not a problem but the SP can drift either way on low volumes. I have been in this share for over 6 months now and the becalmed nature of the SP (jan-march) is not unusual.
Traders will get bored and sell or look for signal points that only news can provide. Acacia can't sell into no volume on the open market so the next peice of news (if positive) will help to gauge the churn left. Cathal has to release the end of year report by next week and lots will focus on the negative (of which there will indoubtedly be lots looking back as it will be 3 months out of date) whilst many will see the opportunity of getting in. I think Cathal may wait as long as he is able to gift wrap the report with some news.
For the record I look at the bear case as much as the bull one and still see this as my best investment opportunity this year. Time and patience makes more money after all.

Ivy.. let's hope so that would be good. We only own a minority stake in immutex and therefore wouldn't be logical for a majority holder to lead on the sale / IPO side if that was the pitch/plan otherwise .

Jimzi... Youre right be careful. So please tell me why did they off load 25m shares on the 5th June at 12.25p when the trading price range on that day was 12.90 - 14.30p... If they did transfer the shares to "another" single entity where is the required TR1 or did they simply off load what they could at a discount to raise fast cash to another(s) who then sold into the volume in the days following. We don't know is the answer other than we do know that entity did not hold onto them all.

As for 500k left... looking at level 2 doesnt give you an idea of residual it only gives you a picture of current orders.

Rudey.. dilution also includes servicable debt, warrants and options alongside additional share issue. All, in there own way reduced share holder returns on capital. that was the context of the statement but I take your point.

Mark, sadly you are wrong on that point. the roadshow and approach to IIs was made when the SP was 11p but in the meantime and before the offer was floated the sp was circa 14.8. The participants had the option on the book build day itself whether to take the shares or not it wasnt a futures contract.

Ivy..Thanks for your considered response and I don't disagree; it is just the context. There are now a number of flags coming up for me here from my experience of AIM stocks. Careful is the watch word and as has been pointed out if he is speaking to an investor seminar next month aimed at big money investment why would he need to if they were already queuing at the door given the present SP and what is the capital and therefore dilution set to achieve? The business case changes by the week and although that can be a good thing to pivot the company towards opportunities it also increases risk.

Also we cannot escape this fact - The raise was over subscribed on the day of the book build because on that day it represented a 26% discount to the SP. If it was 12p as now for example would it have been over subcribed with big investors?? Well i think we know the answer to that this week dont we.

Ivy I take the point lets be realitic here ..Transformational is a broad term, but in the context of revenues even if six of these were landed this year at circa 36m increase to revenue and the additonal contracts already secured the Mcap of the company now is 80m so the SP is not undervalued by much given this potential hence the broker target price of 18p...
The rest of the portfolio has potential value and potential is likewise a broad term.... When i heard Cathal speak recently I was alerted to two things that although, do not mean I will devest at present but left me wondering. The first was that the company was looking to be profitable by end of june which today has changed to later in the year hopefully in an interview with IG ... and the second was that he twice said something in the AJ bell interview which concerned retail investors and raises .... I am cautious and realistic on the value of the company although did a decent investment.

exactly my point... if they didnt but wanted to make such an investment there has been ample opportunity to obtain Acacia shares the past week while floating just above the placing price and given the slow churn that hasnt happened... don't just look on the bright side there is always merit in looking at both sides always...

Still onwards but the lack of TR1 makes me consider more people flipping the raise as an increased possibility.

It may be an option but Orph is a minority partner and both companies have agreed to monetorise their asset which means either they list as a seperate entity and transfer their combined shares to the market, or they sell the company. Either way neither board will invest capex in it, the market would have to provide the funding which allows the current directors and shareholders to exit... I know I would

Do some research Wally....The business plan has never been to commit orph to capex spend for drug development. The idea of selling immutex or listing seperatelty was in order to ensure that any eventuality doesn't effect orph's balance sheet. It really is that simple so all this talk of phase 2 etc is just hot air I am afraid. They would sell the company or list immutex seperately with a seperate prospetus.

You know excatly what I mean ..baiting JH and making unevidenced comments on future SP etc etc. Youre a trader, fair enough but don't proclaim to be open and engaging because you are not. Dismissing JH's questioning of your statements earlier was disingenuous and arrogant.
