Cyprus.... I can only speak for myself and say I am holding firm and adding what little funds I have left soon. The crux of the matter is that the bottom is almost certainly 11p at the placing price and if the distressed seller takes us to those levels I and many others will through the kitchen sink at it.

Jimzi .. The simple answer is I dont know but it seems to be happening. If the MMs have taken a short position and dont hold stock given they know the sell demand it may make sense to go NT rather than sell stock they dont own and risk a loss on an SP down turn..? I've heard some interviews with them online when they talk of that scenario but dont mention NT just having to take the loss. One thing is sure, once the MMs soak up stock and go long the price will move. :)

As to why NT appears I dont know..I can only guess they go NT till there percevie sufficent demand to move the chunk volume before them on the sell side be it off book or dark pool orders they face.. As I said thats is my guess thou

Jimzi... The MMs will take the price to wherever they can match buyers and sellers thats all. They have used the same pattern all week, open up and hold the bid low to make a margin then reduce. If it wasnt for the overhang we would be a lot higher, even in this general market. But until the point the overhang clears they will take the price where ever they can to meet the orders beforethem. Not de-ramping just a very short term annoyance

Possibly Swapleber... but I suspect we are heading for another dip today as MMs cant seem to get the volume at the current price and have orders to try to clear... very little dry powder left but it is primed for such an eventuality....

Agree John but that in itself is a good thing. Today is the last day they have to really dump ahead of new issuance tomorrow so I am upbeat about things overall. I expected a muted response today but if we keep the volume to clear them I'll be happy. Just thrown in my last tranche, hideously overexposed personally but looking through my watch list there is nothing else being close to being as investable in the brave new world we find ourselves in.

Si, I did the same last friday and this week reading the technicals of a retrace and gauging only placing shares were being flipped not a major holder doing it. Hence why the lack of RNS' to clarify things as should have been done made me angry enough to contact the company. So in the schme of things some of us have taken a decision to top up into a skewed book but that said my biggest chunks were yesterday so I can live with it.

Even if the SP ends flat I'll be happy today as the TR1 last night and this news provides the volume to be rid of the reamaining sharks circling us. I do hope we will hit volumes of 15m+ by close that really would be excellent and set the scene for a straighter book tomorrow and into next week. More optimistic today...yesterday I was pi@@ed off and let rip to the company and their broker..funny old world hey :)

Wessex... what are you on about? The contract for lab services has been secured by Venn with an outside Pharma. As Venn are part of the Orphan group it is a contract that presents cross selling opportunities to HVivo... It aint hard to understand

Managing expections is needed I think...the wider market is taking a big hit today and although this is good news alongside Acacia selling down/out there is still a few shares to shift I think... happy overall but not expecting rockets and all the other rubbish people claim.. GLA
