The only way that anyone would think that the SP would fall below placing price is if a) they were insider dealing on some form of information not known to the market b) assuming that all or some of placees will flip any form of profit in a falling market and cause a herd stampede for the door. erm....

I think of the timing of TW article (which i haven't cos I dont subscribe) and it strikes me that news of Acacia in talks with link were reported just before. Therefore given Acacia are a hedge fund backed entity what better time to go short on a stock or sell, de-ramp and buy back in. I dont really know the facts but its as plausable as any. I am buying the bluff scenerio my self :)

and owns as many shares in it :)

Also of course Acacia may have a holding to shift but not the volume so they withdraw the order make the SP rise then sell into the volume.. Either way I am happy holding.

Hvivo... He is working on the assumption that some people have topped up all the way down and are over-exposed, also that a % of the placees are those that went through the open offer (perhaps he is one himself). Therefore when the SP moves up a simple tactic to use to make those people sell is to instil doubt. It owuld be entirely logical for people to off load shares as we move up and this of course would be a natural behaviour of the markets. Traders watch for signals for entry, retrace and work on assumptions on share price movements. This aint a rocket but it far from a pump and dump as well they know.. Cheers all

Listing, including a cheaper reverse takeover of a US shell company still involves significant cost. He has only just got the capital in the bank account to progress the challenge study model,but I don't rule out some funds going elsewhere also knowing him.

certainly the volume suggests a ruluctance to engage. That what happens when there is uncertainty I suppose.

Magicpie... there isnt the liquidity for a 13m trade on block. I know this wont be welcome news but if we assume 13m existed Monday and take the volume and reported large block sales printed since we have some way to go here ...Clearly Acacia got a price well under 11p otherwise they wouldnt bother selling on the open market so money must be being made in their method even though it is painful for us. Cathal may be right it will be next week before they clear if the volumes remain up. He would have spoken to his broker and will have a far better veiw than us now.

1.claims they were suprised as everyone on the SP action the last few days and that Acacia had decided to flip their shares on the open market when they could have approached the company and they would have placed them with one their IIs.

2. Reaction to anti-body testing has been overwhelming from B2B sector groups.

3. Plans to temporarily expand quarentine unit to a 100 bed facility elsewhere (?) and run parallel trails

4. bullish on everything overall
