Liquidity !!!! over one Billion shares in issue and the volumes are, consistently pathetic. It is no wonder larger holders sell into any rise it is the only way to maintain any sort of margin. The wide quoted spread is the bi-product of a much larger issue which is really frustrating for attracting large buyers. If you appreciate this is makes holding this share far easier to bear as only small volumes can shift the price disproportionately.

I've been thinking a lot about what the BOD's red line might be for selling the company. Although we will never know unless it happens, to my mind it would have to be very high as the Board of Directors collectively only own 6% of the company shares; Eric has 11million of them. To lose a high salary would take a compelling offer indeed in my view so all to play for. A few director buys now would only help the sentiment for this company, given that we would be trading closes to 12p to my mind if these approaches had never been made. Either way a bargain price down here.

sells were going through at 9.61 and buys at 9.68 so both above the quoted mid price of 9.6 on a 9.5 -9.7 quoted spread. Sorry I should have clearer - apologies

It may take a few days for the weak hands to sell out but with gold on the rise heading to 1800 the future here looks better than ever. Just a case of holding through the boring periods. I managed nine months last time will beat that this time for sure.

1600 - buy 9.62p 41537 then one minute later sells the same amount 9.53 class !! LOL

All the get rich quick dreamers will have left and I hope the usual LTH posters remain like most of this year. The company is on a sound footing and, more to the point so is gold now as an investment. We do not know any details of the company's red lines, basis of discussions or anything else that went on and nor will we. We do know however, that production will ramp up and costs of production will fall. We know the balance sheet is ok and the fact that three suitors were sniffing around at this price the last few months should tell you all you need to know. I bought another 400k this morning under 9.5 happy days at this price. Down but definitely not out!

If they consider the avenue to better Share holder value to be to end discussions then my the board should own more than 6% of the company. Director buys is what is needed now and lots of them.

Bought more and will buy more again if this nonsense continues... read the circs carefully they wanted a bargain and didnt get it
