Aphids! Gosh, they were running amok last summer... everytime the wind blows i get a rain of aphids on me. How to deal with them?

all drilling are risky - i mean all, exploration, appraisal, development. same as workovers - light and heavy all come with risks. To oiler hands out there, perhaps some experience sharing could help our investor community.

a few days extra to sidetrack and we are back onto the program.. i would say ~2 weeks delays... give or take.

its ok...

known unknowns, and unknown unknowns... this is normal for drilling. they have contingencies which is good.

The fact they have He show in Red Sandstone further indicates the primary target below is hot - revert back to basic theory:

i would like it to be so, but to consider, there is always some non-productive time (NPT), known unknowns and unknowns unknowns that they might encounter. They could be drilling closer to the ~70m per day mark but then got pulled back therefore average around 40m/day or so (?). hard to say with no "eyes" on site or twits to tell us - thats why I quite like Skittish's investigative reports on pipes! . usually when a drilling co or turnkey co quotes costs + duration there is a bit of fat + contingencies built in to allow them to hit the mark.

I don't know actually as I don't know the rig used by HE1. But to give you an idea of how fast we drill in the North Sea offshore in sandstones, we were doing on average, between 247-312 ft per day varying with projects and challenges faced.

how that compares to HE1 I dont know. sorry if it doesnt help. seisprocessor, maybe you have a better handle?
