11.01 - You got it, brains...

Despite the fact my thoughts have been touted on a number of other sites by those claiming the as their own...since a week or 10 days ago I've hypothesised that the OTC mark it 'stocked' by ASX and AIM supply. I can't see any other outcome but a big rise in the states today (unless vols are low because brokers don't want the risk, given its likely to gap up or down with news over night in AUS, or can't settle trades without a 1 day settlement gap)...volumes will tell you everything but if they are 'normal' (if 500m - 1bn is normal!) then the share price spike could be more than many would believe possible.
As everyone that has read my posts historically know, I don't make price estimates...for the simple fact I don't know given the numerous driving factors...which equally I'm not in a position to estimate or quantify. That said I would expect the price to go past the recent close high of about 7 cents...IF trading vols are as we've seen them.

09.21 - That said It'll be interesting to see what they have in the N14 as this area is analogous with Harrier. I assume they have something, whilst not an optimal intercept, given they stated they hit all 3 targeted zones. That being the case there would be a derisking of Harrier to a degree.

23.28 - I think I said this yesterday or I must be "Evenolderwiser"...US closed Thursday higher than AIM or ASX and they have Monday (likely without news but certainly expectations for Tuesday/some point during next week) so the US brokers will need to price the stock well wide if they experience net buys bias by investors. Even without news on Tuesday morning AUS time there could well be a gap up just to deal with the latent effect of OTC trading tomorrow....

22.42 - Firstly I'm not saying that a buy out, in full or part, is imminent...Peregrine even if this well works you'd want to delineate to get more certain resources credentials to maximise acquisition price. I think you're too focussed on 1 factor. There can be lots of other factors that could apply to change the share price up or down exclusive of any asset sale, changing oil prices, the new available funds where the market could then price other prospects higher (not based on cost) but because the company would be better placed to fund 1/some/all future drills alone if they chose, could give the company the option to potentially change focus from just exploration into potentially production aspirations, or a war chest for other opportunistic acquisitions, not my favourite subject as I think its inefficient but possible consolidation....and many many more factors could affect the share price after such a hypothetical asset sale....

19.26 - Makes it 100% more likely they will hold off in my eyes...all the days noted in the post where followed by working days. Look at it this way, they probably have the information so why not release it on a Saturday which would be 2 days before a Monday (normal week)...thats the same as releasing it tonight being 2 days before the next working day being Tuesday this week. Just not going to happen, it normal practice and common sense. As for the US guys, its an AUS company...they haven't started working US times in Australia just because they have bought shares off exchange....

16.48 - I think I covered this in 16.22....Do some research and have a look at the company structure...The prospects are held in subsidiaries...these are like little sub-companies and hold the assets. Think of a 'picnic basket', thats 88E as you probably think of it, thats the headline Top-Co, its where the Board sit, its the entity that issues the capital etc. In your picnic basket you have sandwiches, cakes, fruit salad and drinks. You don't just throw them into the basket all together, you put them in containers (especially the drinks!) that segregate them...those are your subsidiaries. If someone came along having forgotten their picnic basket they might offer to buy yours which you might do (by agreeing a price and giving them the entire basket and all its contents) but you not want to sell all of it as you may want to keep certain items for yourself...however you might be willing to sell just the fruit salad, which you could easily do by agreeing a price and passing them the container with the fruit salad in it....

16.07...they are called share with voting rights for a reason. If the board proposed a takeover (where we are the target) then you have the right to say yes or no with your proportion of the company owned. If a consolidated 10% or great said not (assuming 90% threshold) then the deal is unlikely to go ahead...maybe they walk away, maybe they increase the offer of its a small percentage below threshold.

One thing I will say is that 88e hold their assets in different subsidiaries, a prospective buyer could look to buy a discreet prospect as opposed the whole holding company, 88E...this is one of the reasons it’s set up this way, ring fence assets for flexibility and efficiency

15.42 - I'm sorry but its clear you have no understanding or experience of M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions....as I can't be sure you even know the acronym).
Look at the XCD buyout, the bar was at 90% before compulsory acquisition kicked in for the residual 10%.
Your 51% nonsense would give controlling interest but way below the necessary threshold for complete takeover.
Suggest you do a bit more research.

12.39 - My advice which I try to follow is...."Let the situation be what it wants to be, not what you think it should be" takes the stress out of recent events. I might not understand everything thats going on but happy to let it unfold as it surely will.

11.26 - I think thats a really good point that in this melee may have been forgotten, CR to fund Charlie-2. Its viable now that we could fund Charlie-2 alone at these levels. We have the data and that looks good. USD 25m looks like dilution of 500-600m shares, not 4+billion and we could keep 100% of the spoils just like PANR can if Talitha works out.
It's worth keeping an eye up the road as to whats next.
