14.01 - My only advice given Charlie-1 experience is people should consider the analysis results that will hopefully be here in a few weeks....Charlie-1 look pretty poor at the well site but on analysis they learned and came back with the very good prognoses as to whats there. This already has been stated by the company as better (best result of all the drills so far) so the results, even though people may be thinking there isn't enough data, could be Stella. Better than Charlie reinterpretation would take some doing but thats what we're being told....remember they also said the well was slushing, a precursor for oil flow...I think this would have flowed and I think the interpretation will tell us that. Be patient or risk losing what you be the first definite step to ascendance...everyones choice...I'm sticking with it.

12.04 - Depends what the lab results come back with. If they come back and can make a robust assumption that Merlin is a discovery and would have flowed under test circumstances then you may not spend the extra money on merlin confirming what you already have strong understanding of. This would naturally buoy the share price (could be multiples of where is is now and that a few multiples already of where it was in Feb) and make further funding far more palatable from a dilution perspective. May be more efficient to go up to Harrier and treat that as the step out depending if the 'surprise' zone is interrupted to be there also. Remember in Merlin they found the N14 (deepest target and analogous with Harrier) and the surprise zone. The Merlin exclusive zones whilst hydrocarbons were present the saturation wasn't great.....They might reinterpret and think they may see some of the shallower N20 and N18 at merlin...there are a number of avenues of thought here.

12.02 - extract = extra

10.21 - One thing that could help with respect to the lab results is the relatively quiet drill season with Biden and COVID. Surely thats given extract capacity availability in the analysis labs so hopefully the turn around will be quicker than in previous years.
Thos timings have always fluctuated and its hard to judge especially as we don't have a much data as we'd like from this well. Less data may mean less time to analyse art it may mean more time as you have to robustly define more assumptions....time will tell. I'm hoping for something during May.

11.27 - As we are not on the inside and are almost entirely not senior oil executives...its hard to know what industry would value this at. They may see the data rooms for all the assets (or maybe just individual assets) combined with the expectation of no further lease for this presidency and think now is the time to acquire. Big oil doesn't want to wait 4 years and see if presidency changes or in that 4 years see delineation and the price go up significantly....20p = c. $3.5bn...its a lot but equally they may see they are getting a lot for that. Point is I don't know therefore I can't really say thats its not possible

06.38 - Financially doesn't make sense as you rightly say, they could have purchased on the open market much cheaper. Therefore the only reason I can think is that the option owner is an 'insider' and in trading blackout but I believe that doesn't extend to exercising of pre existing expiring options if they pre date the current activity...if thats the case then it is very positive as an insider still thinks that 5.5c has value notwithstanding its a very small amount in the grander scheme so equally they might not care.

DW is not a man to exaggerate as most will know.
His commentary that Merlin-1 was 'BY FAR' the best of any of the 5 wells drilled in the last 6 years...I am still processing this.
We have Charlie-1 with 1.8bn BOE...Can't wait for 88 to quantify and define how they have come to the conclusion that this is that much better...

17.00 - The numbers can't be relied on with your interpretation...every buy needs a sell and visa versa unless you think the brokers are holding them overnight...which materially they won't be.
Even when the market isn't moving quickly buys can show up as sells and visa versa...when it has had a large and quick move they become almost irrelevant....but you can interpret however you want.

16.47 - And of course corporate/money men. Information that gets into the public domain has often been positioned as such. truth truth may never even be revealed but just the outcome...take it or leave it.
