I'm sure you've read in between the lines, its not like 88e to inject positivity even when this is clearly not the result that was intended (by that I mean its very unlike them to have operational issues) but here we do and have to accept that however they believe their is still a decent prize...not sure we've seen that since Icewine1 and reinterpretation of Charlie1.
I think the key for me is what they found and how big the 'surprise' zone is (its possible this could dwarf the original targets...we do have the first set of logs and that will have significant use for understanding especially porosity and permeability

11.48 - Schedule wise I think it'll be:
- Merlin interpretation (focus on what we can get out of N14 and 'new zone' including reinterpretation of 2D seismic as far as is possible for the new zone. A post earlier highlighted that again 88e spend a relatively small amount of money (sub USD 5m) for whatever comes out of this and the FO partner hasn't had to walk away (as yet) because of their own circumstance which again is positive.
- I think Merlin interpretation will point to a Harrier drill - which I suspect they would look to do all zones (including new zone if applicable and harrier deep.
- Application of PANR results to our 3d seismic for the central leases
- Charlie-2 FO (possibly a decision to make as to this or Harrier in 2022...hopefully both!)
However I also respect that this will be a little up the road for people today and maybe till the next piece of news so I'm not going to band the drum, let people process and work out what works for them.

11.48 - This period has served me well from a variety of perspectives and appreciate it for what it is...could I have done better? Always... but there are a number of positives...always.
There will be the usual analysis soonish and that will probably fill in the gaps for people (Id suggest we have a little more here than people think) which I can already see as per my post at 11.13

10.50 Brom - I'm going to let this settle (obviously not ideal but easy to overlook the positives)...most interested in what analysis they can interpret with respect to N14 (Harrier cross over) and the 'new' zone, how PANR do on the Kaparuk (testing the SMD, SFS, BFF next year now) and what that means for your central leases plus the awaited Charlie-2 revisit/FO.
Suspect all the above will provide share price support in the short term and also where this information is released by Ashley, its a good strategy to know you have some light at the end of the tunnel supplied by the new guy, not the outgoing.

15.03 - Look at it this way, you think a company isn't priced correctly (too low) or you believe their business going forward will be more valuable (to mention but 2 reasons) so you buy the stock to make money. If someone else has completely the opposite view and also wanted to make money, should they not be allowed to employ their research and foresight to do so? If you only had a 'long' side market you end up with as many problems and definitely no more efficiency, in fact far less.
Take a look at some efficient capital market theory and it'll help you discover there is not only the room but also its kind of essential.

11.30 - I time stamped it to reply to Archie...If I read it correctly then I think he was having a go at some of the RNS accuracy whilst making a mistake in his post (DNS)...at least Archie found the funny side...if we can't laugh at ourselves then we're doomed.

If vols are low don't think thats necessarily a reflection of low investor activity/interest....it may be OTC broker driven restrictions...then its logical they may only trade on a quasi matched basis
