By that I mean, ion the share price accretes as assets are proved up and then you get a buy out (particularly if it were a non US entity like BP or Repsol) it would be an inflow of cash into the US...Share holders went cashing in or being bought out will also be subject to taxes...win / win for the US government

I think people should also be aware that ownership has been materially split now into the US...is that a surprise given the US SPV FO partner for Peregrine? No it's by design. Americans want to benefit from their own assets and keep as much value as possible 'in-house'

This also bodes well for 88e. Be aware PANR share price is being held back massively as Farallon (debt to equity holder) are reducing risk.

09.51 - But you're right to a degree that its up to every investor...would they take say 3p now (with maybe an average of 1.5/2p) after 6 years or do you decide maybe in 2-3 years I could get more like 20-30p (including any dilution)...The size of the prize is too big for me to throw that away just yet.
Remember you'll also probably benefit from a decent uplift in share price as any assets are proven commercial to ease you carry worries.

09.51 - 1 well might be commercial but you need step out wells to prove delineation that indeed the discovery extends across the hypothesised area.

09.51 - The only site that might be viable to produce would be the central leases currently as TAPS runs partially through that acreage or possibly Yukon. To do that would involve probably proving up and selling another asset like Peregrine and a change in strategy. I was at the Globe meeting so heard first hand DW say production wouldn't be his wheelhouse. Now he could of meant that personally (as he's now leaving) but most agree is was a company statement.

Without having direct industry knowledge I have spoken to my contacts. Whilst disappointing, they all said the operational issues are quite normal. They also said it would be company suicide to say this is the best we’ve seen without knowing the data they have can be used to independently provide a very positive analysis RNS. We have the first run wirel line and can certainly get a good understand of certain characteristics plus a remap of the extent of the new zone...given where we are the next RNS is key

Next year they drill and confirm very large peregrine prospects and they drill Charlie 2 and that’s a great seebee result...oh and talitha proves up Kaparuk that runs into our central lease and panr go back and prove up other (already defined discoveries at talitha) that also run into our central leases. That’s not including any further work on the hrz or Yukon/ANWR.
But you’d still have your 3p...not your 30/40/50p. How would you feel when someone like a Conoco scatterguns the drills and there are many billions of barrels we sold out too soon for peanuts.
You want to buy a car and how much do you pay if you just have a few photos? How much more would you pay if you could see it in person? How much if you could then test drive it...and finally how much if you’ve seen it, teat driven, independent checks and a lifetime warranty...
I’ll use every vote to block any take over until harrier and Charlie 2 are drilled plus and central leases especially if the Kaparuk and SMD work (you’d beget to test the hrz there too).
There is too much to loose after 6 years against keeping your head down for another 2 or 3 years and firming up what we have to get a proper price.

Merlin - already says the best well even if the results are 'difficult to interpret' but history and style says it'll be the same , under promise, over deliver once you're 100% sure what you can say about it.
This is actually very prudent as you can't be accused of leading people on...only down side is you may not get the share price uplift immediately...Charlie and Merlin / Harrier will confirm next time out and then they'll be 2 discoveries to price in properly...
Which can only really be done by industry.

Worth noting that I think this week the active traders have been out in force. Friday PM, flatten your positions somewhat, everything showing big drops into the close, 88, PANR, UKOG...
Ride or play the psychology but stick to your strategy
