18.19 - I’ve learnt from past experience to both not read too much into timing and doesn’t tell us anything as to where the news is amazing or just a good next step and also manage my also to manage expectations. Whatever they have found has a degree of investigation left to run with follow up wells.
Even if the news is news is as great as expectation, that would change the timing. They still need to take the technical results and disseminate in a clear fashion to ensure the information isn’t misconstrued either good or bad.
Point is the timing doesn’t tell us anything about how good or not good the job formation is.

09.04 - Its like a big game of tag, one market trades then passes it over to the next but generally in the same direction (up or down). At see point one market stabilises or changes direction and the cycle starts again....interjected by news.
OTC is the tricky one as they are effetely trading nothing without a listing therefore the brokers need to cover their position (underlying and currency) each day, this makes it a little more volatile and harder to read IMHO

I kind of get that some people out there may be looking to cash in a little/all before the news arrives as historically long lead times and even small delays haven't been that positive but this time feels different. Whilst the challenges of the drill have been well discussed, I still think they have enough on the analysis to prove a compelling result. We are still to hear how our neighbour COP's court result has gone, half year financials look good (well better than previously) and we are getting into the FO window. I'd love to see 2 FOS, Peregrine and Icewine, both have the potential to send this to a very different level Between now and easter is going to be pretty lively IMHO

Noticed 3,000,000 shares listed as being traded in Aus already. I’ve only ever seen this when news is about to be issued…rightly or wrongly….

Rfarfa and Blackadder2708 - The rabbit pops up every now and then to annoy this board although I see he's spent more time on EEENF trying to troll PANR into that forum. And thats him, a troll first and die hard PANR supporter a close second.
He'll bang on about probabilities, maybe Mean versus high estimates then move to CoS, GCoS or porosity...blah blah blah.
Fact is in his little tiny mind, he thinks fundamentally only fundamentals only drive value. They need to be there, no doubt, but ultimately there are many other factors. Maybe PANR will come good - maybe if the change the board as they are not up to the job, fact is I don't care.
I block him and I'm more than happy with my 600%+ uplift over the past 12 months.

Yesterday 88 advances, lots of buying out our neighbour recedes…then vice versa this morning…good luck and I’m sure some will have made a few quid but suspect most will have lost out by short term timing mismatch and spread…fastest was to bleed to dead

18.52 - Worth noting that unless the shares in question are in a tax wrapper (ISA or SIPP), crystallising shares attracts GCT in the tax year they are sold IF you sell at a profit and for profits higher than any GCT exemption allowances. Its not always an easy decision to make as prudently any profit you take you should reserve the tax amount due (20% depending on income as this is the higher rate for anything over GBP 12,300 assuming none of the 12,300 has been consumed by other gains). 15.10 - unless you have live prices, then the prices you see on the screen are 20 mins delayed...if you request a buy of sell from the broker that is live...which you will see the corresponding screen prices 20 mins after...

16.52 - and now that London is closed OTC are on their own, if he balance is on net buying then it'll recover a bit...seems a fair chance of that

Wonder if the MMS are going to drop the bid to try to get some shares in, ie a little shake? Hopefully those that hold know the games and instead make them raise the bid if they really want them.

OTC right up and on a couple of occasions over 4 cents, if they knock many more times I could head right through the resistance

Not sure if mentioned but I think quite a big point with the RNS is that the Umiat extension means even if we only drill one well this season we can further derrick Peregrin rather than having to fulfil the original Umiat commitment. Thats actually a big plus as we could have meant Peregrine was a year postponed.

Yeah I can remember having a discussion with a previous LTH around the 1.25p - 1.30p area and he was adamant he'd only consider re entry sub 1p which he was sure it would be as the year rolled on...not saying is can't get back to those levels (although I'd be very upset) but if only he'd taken the 1.25p, he'd have have almost doubled and could have cashed out....nevermind, his money, his no money.

17.28 - Well at least the trolls are also on holiday/doing other things. For us seasoned guys we know just to sit back and see what the results look like and keep an eye out for COP news.
I think AG has hit the ground running well, too early to say what the change at board level fully means but the share price has certainly performed better than usual May to September histories which I'm pleased to see.
