RE: Recent price dip8 Jul 2021 11:05
09.44 - the percentage of new share versus market cap isn't really large enough. I think this is more a retrace of recent price moves upwards. There are many people that will take 10, 20, 30% profit and cash in...I can't really argue against that to be honest but it doesn't create a scalable volatility.
With OTC it seems that they react positively to positive news (sounds an odd think the say but sometimes ASX and AIM are more reluctant)....given that we have
1. Petrophysical report for Merlin
2. CP court case to clear the way for Willow development (this is actually very big news for us as it creates the precedent for this play in the NPRA)
3. Plans/FO/funding/analysis (Charlie and central leases given Talitha)
Theres plenty that will happen over the next 6 months to engage investors and drive the share price.
As always, I'm consistently leaving TO out of the list as I'm still of the opinion that we need another drill season or 2 to get a decent return.
And as a curve ball it'll be interesting to see if, given the shallow depths and what we have derisked at Peregrine, if we'll try to fund it alone and be in a far better position to negotiate an asset sale on a 100% WI. I think that'll be a tough decision based on what the data says and also to a degree if they are forced to drill something in Umiat this season.
