WTF has gone on here today with the SP? Another leak? Done a reversal and now powering on

Some strong sounding results, which should give the SP a lift. But im still uncomfortable with the level of debt in USD which will remain a drag. I notice they said that more debt was now in kwacha but the figures don’t support that statement so I’m a little confused

The Group has taken appropriate actions to restructure debt, with an increased percentage of facilities now denominated in Kwacha. Net debt** position as at 30 September 2021 is expected to close at USD42.7 million (2020: USD39 million) and ZMW714.8 million (2020: ZMW790.1 million) in Kwacha terms.

I’ve got a significant long term holding at 2.5p, some of which I sliced at 13.6p. However, I’m now considering opening a short term trade as the SP is so depressed and expect it to kick on significantly over the next 6-12 months

I wonder if the rise is in anticipation for potential policy announcements at COP26 next month

Only back from the crazy fall experienced earlier this summer. I bought in at 26p and still underwater. The mcap is still low though, so i expect it to hit many multiples in due course

No it doesn't spell the end for exploration and production in the North Sea. The important part of the article is the last 2 paragraphs if you bothered to read:

So they are interested in ensuring domestic resources are developed, but Shell failed to meet certain criteria. And it could help HBR if they are forced to use HBR platform
