Paul - you forgot about GTC who also had an RNS out today and is up nearly 20%. Now that is an under the radar hydrogen company

Well I did think COP26 was going to be a key driver for this, but did not expect such a surge.

Firstly, my thanks to expatbrat for your continued support here. Your quips reaffirmed my commitment to this holding :).

I work in the aviation fuel supply sector and know only too well the huge requirement for SAF going forwards, and VLS are well placed to prosper. I have though sold my holding of 6p in 2 tranches this week 11.65p and 15.80p. I expect there will be some natural consolidation/drawback for breath and i'll be back in then. Everyone has their own investment strategies and usually I hold whatever, but in my experience a sharp spike usually results in a drawback, particularly when future revenues are so far off. I didn't slice PHE when it hit 8p so hopefully i've called it better this time.

That said, I do believe this is a great long term hold, even from here. I'll be back! Have a great weekend all :)

Agree with all those sentiments, there’s no clarity on a pathway forward and seemingly no progress over the last 12 months. Very disappointing

DSM needed a rocket up their arris. Be interesting to see the make up of the new agreement if it's signed.

What interested me was that it stated the agreement will come into 'full effect' from 1 Jan 23. It then states later on in the RNS:
· The Agreement commences immediately and has a term of ten years, subject to extension and termination clauses.

So what will be done in the next 12 months (other than the blue cap and further claim)? Are they going to be marketing in the interim? I seem to recall they were already but was difficult to gain traction without blue-cap status. It looks like the pieces are finally coming together (patents sorted). It maybe a slow year next year but 2023 could see lift off. More patience required but light at the end of the tunnel perhaps. These final blue-cap approvals can't come soon enough, they've been a long time coming

Bear in mind that XSG did a placing for £8m in March this year at £2.40! That was at only a a discount of 1.23% to the market. The fundamentals have not changed since then..............it really is a baffling fall but that's AIM for you. It's for the impatient and the fact that deadlines got pushed back in India has seen bored investors look elsewhere in the meantime

I never saw it dropping this low, but i've taken advantage and topped up again. I've now sunk an eye watering amount in here, average is £4.26 but that is only a £100m MCAP. Yes the company has made mistakes along the way, but the licensing model they are now focused on will bear fruit and I still believe it will be many multiples of this SP

The crazy thing is, despite a 25% rise today, we’re only just back at the last placing price which I partook in. So undervalued here

Another company that has changed its strategy from a focus on oil and gas to renewables is GETECH Group GTC

. Historically, Getech published geoscience data that was used for oil and gas exploration. The business is moving into hydrogen, geothermal and carbon capture services.

Cloud-based services will provide energy transition data and knowledge. Getech’s hydrocarbon skills can also be used for finding sites for extracting geothermal heat or storing carbon.

Most significantly, Getech acquired H2 Green, which is a hydrogen hub developer focused on commercial transport. Discussions are continuing for the development of the first hydrogen asset. This is likely to be a major hydrogen, production, storage and distribution. This should be the first of five sites, which could produce 14,000 tonnes of hydrogen each year. There is also a strategic agreement with Element Two, which could sell hydrogen from its refuelling stations.

The UK government has set out a hydrogen strategy that has an ambition for 5GW of hydrogen production capacity by 2030. A £240 million Net Zero Hydrogen Fund will be launched early next year. This fund will co-invest in projects and could help the H2 Green projects get off the ground.

Correct me if i'm wrong but i thought MOS simply loaned Quanta some money, rather than actually own a stake of the company?

Took a chunk this morning for a ST trade at this price, to supplement my longer term hold. Will look to double this in the next 3 months, fingers crossed. We know how quickly this SP can move

Smashed through the 40s, excitement building. I have no idea of the true value here, much will depend upon commercial agreements but Silence Therapeutics, who Ali used to work for, has an MCAP of £450m. So we could feasibly double from here

Interesting that Ali has talked about how they could have done some smaller deals but are holding out for a big collaboration - ie. 'a Galapagos + deal'

The fact that Ali has just spent another £100k worth of shares at the current price, taking his holding to 9.9% says it all in my view - shows a lot of confidence

And yet despite the share buybacks, the SP remains suppressed
