In many ways I am disappointed by this, but reducing the engineering spend is something I have advocated for a long time - certainly could yield greater profits. KYK makes great points about more skin in the game and the confidence to do this in light of contract renewals etc.

The only doubt I have on that is that the trades seem to be orchestrated in a way to entice a rise, if someone caught wind of a deal they would just take it all as soon as - ok, I have no clue whether this is a single buyer or just a collection of buyers. Like you, certainly not complaining - we need some good times to balance out the world of pain we have existed in for the last 4 years.

Yep, I think that is my biggest worry - why hasn't Microlise gone for this. Raza knows the company better than any of us.

I've said it recently, I am broadly optimistic at the moment regarding Trakm8. I had a wobble a few months ago, but have cleared that up - ok, that does not mean I am correct.

I am not buying (hold too many and have no spare cash).... as for the debt. I would expect it to be lower. The reason is that they are committed to monthly installments for both the growth and term loans (crunch time is Oct 2023). Obviously, they also have to make the £900k HMRC repayment. So it assumes they can afford the repayments and that they are not going to renegotiate their debt. I would say though, the debt should be looked at YoY and not half yearly, things will be cyclic over the financial year.
