That's my thinking. If there was no renewal cash then the outcomes are i) business as usual, no uplift in profits from the renewal or ii) contract not renewed, so RNS to report missed targets.

Realistically, they are already priced for failure so not sure that failing to renew will have much impact (other than confirming to the nay-sayers that Trak is a badly run company). My view is a turn-around could be a multi-bagger AND it can't get much worse than where we are now (that includes complete collapse of price), so worth the punt.

Lots of reasons people move on e.g promotions, personal circumstances, job satisfaction etc - or perhaps he was a causualty of the restructuring - who knows. Personally, I am happy for the new blood that is coming in (and the fact that given their insight into the industry, they still choose to work at Trakm8) as sales do not appear to be great of late (in fleet), albeit some growth. Yes, of course it could be the product, the company or the sales team.

One thing I think we may all agree on is a shake up of BoD may also provide fresh impetus.

My only concern is they state they will meet guidelines this FY - but this now includes the cost savings (so they would have missed). Perhaps they are giving the worst case scenario and the software contract renewal is not factored in (so will be a bonus).

I'm still reading it so may change my mind but this feels like egg on face for me.

I could be wrong but I see that contract renewals are now focussed on a large software contract (so gone from multiple contracts to one which is part of the GBP0.17m of software revenue, so not a lot of cash) - so did I read it wrong in previous updates or have they not renewed other contracts and silently ignored this. Also, they are only going to meet their targets with the help of the restructure, which allegedly shows 'substantial improvement' as you say.

It's a fair point about low level staff, although this goes against the idea that any material change has to be reported asap. From my experience, employees are always the last to know what is really happening.

At the risk of getting egg on my face, I think the update will be good, hence the delay. May see tomorrow (better than a Friday)

Not to the levels of you guys but that 3589 (13.666p) transaction was my buy (circa £500). Figured, it may be worth gambling on the update.

Re the sales, it could be staff that have recently being moved on selling their holdings - no clue

Terrible downward trend, let's hope the next update turns this around. Still think that the update should be more concrete than earlier versions. Think they are waiting for something to be confirmed e.g contract or, in dream world, a sale

Yep, did notice - got that sinking ship feeling. Obviously, we don't know the reasons the seller(s) is selling - and I suspect they have no insider info. There is a lot of things that need to be addressed imo - including:

1) Contract renewals
2) Debt - the growth and term loans have been paid monthly since Sept 2021 - so we should see quite a reduction - obviously, the CLN loan takes it back to square one. Then the term loan needs to be repaid in full in 11 months time - so what is happening there.
3) The restructure - how that is going and what impact is it having - the CLN paid for it so the upshot should be seen as soon as people leave the company

I still think the positive is Raza's continued support.
