I just read it that someone has leveraged a position via CFD/spread betting. Am I wrong? Irrespective, someone has taken a large position so not complaining.

Interesting point -

"Overheads excluding Interest, Depreciation and Amortisation running £140,000 lower per month at the end of the first 5 months compared to prior year despite inflationary pressures"

and

"Interest, Depreciation and Amortisation running £50k per month higher than prior year"

So £90k better off each month even with interest hikes and inflation. My worry was about the impact of debt and it looks like they navigated that well.

However, I am not convinced by this project "£0.5m investment on in house-data centre to reduce external hosting costs impacting all of H2 - £0.6m saving per annum" - this requires hardware, staffing (inc out of hours support and a whole host of business continuity) as well as electricity (that's my worry). Could be wrong.

Very good point about the profit forecast - I wonder what will come of the CMD presentation.

Allenby write "Hence, although we are reducing our FY24 revenue forecast, profits remain unchanged.

We maintain our 38p/share fair value, equivalent to 3.9x FY24 EV/EBITDA."

That did not read well (will re-read) - think KBYK made the right call

AGM and Captial Markets Day annouced - circa 4 weeks time. Not sure the last CMD was effective but does make me think Trakm8 must be doing ok as they stopped AGM timed presentations in 2018 (correct me if wrong), so resuming them must be a good sign.

Reckon you may be in the right ball park. Yes, they have told us it is coming (well, they are confident of it) but why H2 and not earlier? As I posted before, sounds like a major trial is happening and I guess contracts take time to be drawn up. Makes me think it is an existing client and this is an add-on, hence the confidence.....

Agreed about the incentive but..... 38p is the broker fair price, so they don't have to do much if the broker is correct.

Doesn't really say much and keeps forecast/fair price the same (38p). Debt at the end of the year seems significantly down so that is a positive (if I read that correctly).

It was good to see some upwards direction but would have been great for a director to buy. Guess we have to wait until the next update zzzZZZ zzzZZZ

One assumes they must have a signifcant trial on to be confident of getting a software contract over the line in H2. Shame about the reduction in fleet (everyone else apperars to be increasing their fleet numbers). And yes, there is always something throwing a spanner in the works.

I checked back a bit, results more like in early July.

Although small beer, the endless sale of the shares prior to the TU is a little disconcerting.

Unless they delay to do a Friday RNS in which case we are all doomed. But seriously, 3 months of the current financial year now done, so a good impression of what the outlook will be.

I'm going to call it first......I usually am optimistic about these things and it goes the opposite way. So, my prediction is a massive share price decrease tomorrow because of a single word in the TU (with 99% of the TU being amazing) - probably the word 'hope' e.g. we hope that ..... maybe my dire prediction will kick start the recovery ;o)
