The capacity thing is a bit of a red herring.
Doesn't matter if they got capacity to sell £4bn or £40bn if folk only wanna buy £2bn worth of stuff. Revenue growth of low single digits only expected this year. The way inflation raging, that'll be a fall in revenue in real terms for FY23.
Their spending was profligate when things were looking rosy, and worse, there's no word on what the returns on these supposed investments have so far been, just increasingly doubtful assurance that there will be jam tomorrow. Such a lack of discipline and prudence only adds to the apparent dodgy business/management vibe that began to really crystallise a couple of years back.
