Even through the A320neo is currently using Pratt & Whitney PW1100G engines, this is encouraging for RR. All airlines are increasing orders with a select few engine makers. RR may even add narrow body to the 2023 strategy
You can’t ignore what is happening now weekly
British travel company Jet2 said it ordered 35 new Airbus A320neo aircraft worth $3.9 billion at list prices, with an option to extend this to 71 aircraft, as it bets that demand for package holidays will keep growing.
The new order follows Jet2's deal to buy 36 slightly bigger A321neo in 2021, its first purchase from Europe-based Airbus after it switched loyalties from U.S. planemaker Boeing.
Jet2 said in its statement on Tuesday that the initial 35 aircraft are due to be delivered between 2028 and 2031 and that it had negotiated a significant discount from the list price. It said it planned to finance the aircraft from internal resources and debt.
The new deal brings Jet2's total number of firm ordered aircraft to 98, with the potential to extend this to 146, which it said would help grow the business as well as refresh its existing fleet.
Despite severe economic headwinds, airline and holiday bosses have recently said that consumer appetite for travel remains strong.

2 important dates in November
First is 3rd November which is the reading update.
This should be good news, which is long overdue.
Second is 8th November, this is a big event that RR are attending as well as many other big names. UBS European Conference ... An important annual gathering of over 100 European CEOs and features presentations, panel discussions, lively debates and investors the opportunity to see strategy for 2023
https://www.ubs.com/global/en/investment-bank/conferences/emea.html
If United Airlines currently has an all-Boeing wide body fleet, it makes sense to have a diverse fleet and go with Airbus for the 100 orders. The A350 uses RR Trent XWB turbofan engines, these are the quietest and most economical long haul jet ever built
environmental benefits such as lower fuel burn and reduced CO2 emissions.
Its nitrogen oxide emissions are nearly a third below the current industry standard, with noise levels also much lower compared to previous generations. It’s a huge leap forward for greener air travel.
Good morning, interesting article on boom in flights to see World Cup next month

I forgot to mention the return of the all important dividend, this is a major part of the strategy, dividends were scrapped in 2021 due to covid and zero income. RR have stated in the past that 2023 could be the year for RR to return dividends, this is subject to loan agreements being satisfied. With increased revenue now increasing month on month for 2022 , we are on track for this to take place.
Next year will be great for RR, we all expect increased flying hours covid big increase in both power systems and defence contracts means we are onto a winner. Ignore the rubbish talk on her about not worth any investment, fill your boots and ignore until 2023. The rewards from this company will be huge, the new CEO starts early year, he will be driving revenue and strategy.
Ignore everything else
Another investment for future revenues, we should hear more in 4 weeks time, RR trading update,.
We should get a clear indication on revenue received, profits and increased orders, maybe something else that has been going on behind the scenes. This may surprise many to how far the company has progressed since the meltdown. Big investors will be watching this closely over the next couple of weeks, don’t be surprised for a sudden large jump in share price
Hope RR are heavily involved
September 30, 2022: In a major initiative to bolster its international footprint, Air India, India’s leading airline, today announced 20 additional flights every week to Birmingham, London and San Francisco. This is part of the airline’s on-going endeavour to reclaim its position as a leader on the international aviation map. The additional flights to these 3 global destinations will be introduced in a phased manner from October to December this year.
With 5 additional flights a week to Birmingham, 9 additional flights to London and 6 additional flights a week to San Francisco, Air India will be able to offer over 5,000 additional seats every week to customers and ensure ample choice in terms of connectivity, convenience, and cabin space.
Air India’s current schedule of 34 flights every week to the UK will now go up to 48 flights. Birmingham will receive extra five flights per week, three from Delhi and two additional from Amritsar. London will receive nine additional weekly flights, of which, five are from Mumbai, three from Delhi and one from Ahmedabad. Altogether, seven Indian cities will now have non-stop Air India flights to the UK’s capital.
Flights from India to the United States will increase from 34 to 40 per week. Air India will now connect Mumbai with San Francisco with a thrice weekly service, and reinstate a three-times-weekly Bengaluru operation. This takes Air India’s San Francisco offering from 10 to 16 weekly, with non-stop service from Delhi, Mumbai and Bengaluru

Rolls-Royce North America scored the much-coveted $2.6 billion Air Force B-52 bomber re-engine contract, besting Pratt & Whitney and GE Aviation. It’s a major win for the U.S. arm of Rolls-Royce. The U.S. Air Force has 76 B-52s; each has eight engines, four on each wing. A version of the Rolls-Royce F130 engine that will be installed in B-52 is already used on Air Force C-37 Gulfstream transports and E-11 Bombardier communications planes.
