Britain must forge close business ties with Saudi Arabia to boost investment and to win a multibillion pound aircraft order.
Article in the times today, Saudi is reportedly close to awarding a contract for a civilian aircraft for a new airline that is setting up , after pumping in $30 billion (£26 billion). The European consortium Airbus , which in the uk has two big manufacturing sites, is competing with US rival Boeing for the deal.
My thoughts are that Airbus could be the choice, huge jobs for Britain and suppliers such as RR
