I agree DW, the BOD are very good at handing out shareholder money left right and centre, you don’t see this happening in privately owned companies as the owners are usually much more astute

Am I right that we are still waiting for the order from Extreme E ? We have signed a contract but are waiting for a purchase order, that could be why no numbers announced. Also there was a business plan mentioned in one of the latest RNS' but when I questioned AFC about a 3 year plan they said something along the lines of we don't discuss it.

Jimmynan, for every forum member who disagrees with me there are those who agree, so I won't be trotting on thanks and yes I am a shareholder and no I don't believe my comments on here will make one tiny bit of difference to the share price. I have also previously submitted questions for the AGM for the benefit of all of us. I feel talk of AB being able to secure a deal with the likes of Microsoft is quite frankly in cuckoo land. Like you being fed up with my negativity, I also get fed up with the ridiculous speculation about who we might do a deal with next. The deal with Extreme E is exactly the target market, off grid, at present this is the only realistic opportunity and the one AFC are attacking with their targeted marketing, unless we see evidence from them that sites that are already supplied on the grid are looking to place an order then I stand by my reasoning.

I feel we are far too late with everything tbh, the Extreme E deployment will be a year since the EV charger was unveiled. Yes it’s good publicity but it’s still really only a demo of what the system can do, it won’t cause Extreme E any financial hardship if the AFC unit doesn’t work, motorsport fans are hardly going to switch off if they find out the cars aren’t being charged with green hydrogen, and now there’s talks of Microsoft and Rolls Royce, dream on. We still need a motorway services or supermarket to order to get other big players interested

Phat, at least say IMHO after your ramps, you say everything as though it’s fact and you risk tempting people to put more money into this than they can afford to lose. The article highlights issues I’ve posted myself notably it’s much easier to raise £31.5m while giving a 20% plus AFC have to prove they have learnt from past mistakes and can actually deliver something.

Complete BS Phat, Schroeder’s bought in previous fund raises getting Adam Bonds special mates rates and sold a chunk for a nice profit at our expense, I doubt they even hold 7.66% now

I wonder why the reasons for the fundraiser changed from the fundraiser RNS to the interims RNS, with the 1st RNS mentioning system deployment and being excluded from the 2nd one, I would say that is a fundamental reason for the raise.

Bananaman, what is the major selling point if you compare the AFC system with solar panels and a battery ? The only difference that is obvious is that it also generates water which would be ideal in Australia after watching Miriam Margolyes travel there meeting farmers who were having to shoot their cattle. There must be other key points I just don’t know what they are

AFC Energy (AIM: AFC), the industrial fuel cell power company, announces that further to the announcement made on 3 December 2014, the second tranche of Adam Bond's signing bonus payable in Ordinary Shares of the Company has come due.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for this second tranche of 1,000,000 shares to be admitted to trading at 8am on 12 March 2015.

Ah Medice, you mean those partners that AB couldn't divulge during the Sky News interview. Why is everything so secretive ? Are AFC scared that none of them will come off or end up like Southern Oil ?

This share doesn't need PI's to talk it down, AB and JR do fine by themselves every time they open their mouths. When there were many disgruntled shareholders after the roadshow that there were no orders the old faithful were saying give them a few months, these things take time, if no orders by March i'll be getting worried etc etc. Well it's now July and all we have is one sort of order for delivery next year, plus the Acciona trial - next year. The share price is suffering because there is nothing this year, so come back in January basically as this year is a write off already.

Phat, I would agree with your statement -
the fact that we have secured £33m in these market conditions shows how much support we have.
Had the fundraise price been set at a 25% premium to the current share price at the time I would agree but standing there and giving £10 notes away for £7.50 and saying it's in shareholders best interests smacks a bit.

Half year report due soon, would also be good to get an update on the De Nora extended JDA since it was end of August when it was extended and we were told ,
· Majority of targets scheduled to be met within the first twelve (12) months of the agreement.
· Following recent successful electrode performance testing with prolonged longevity, De Nora has agreed to extend its JDA with AFC Energy underlying its commitment to the electrode development for AFC Energy's fuel cell with the parties agreeing (i) specific cost and operational targets, (ii) confirmation of a scaled up 4-year electrode life (building on recent results) and (iii) a mass electrode manufacturing capability, which together will significantly reduce the levelised cost of energy for AFC Energy's fuel cell systems.
