Is this the right thing to be doing at this stage, before we’ve even deployed a commercial system showing off our fuel cell to a competitor of one of our partners ? I wonder how MSP feel about this ?

No I’m not musc I just mentioned it because I heard that today but I have always loved birds and you can’t beat seeing a kingfisher flying low across a lake in the late evening sun, something we are trying to protect with AFCs help !

My daughter in laws partners dad inspects chicken farms, he won’t eat chicken because of what he sees. We have the red tractor which is meant to give peace of mind that they are buying ethically reared animals but that’s just more greenwashing too, plenty of videos online of animals being kicked and beaten with sticks. Pigs sing to their babies yet it’s fine for us to take their babies away from them, male chicks are ground alive, baby calves are taken from their mothers and shot in the head with a bolt and we call that humane, pigs are gassed, and we criticise the Chinese for eating snakes and bats.
The new 6 rule means people can’t go birdwatching yet they’re allowed to shoot them. It’s not a nice world we live in.

Clearly an element here of hypocrisy as many are here that support the environment and are invested for that reason yet are big meat eaters which is proven to be a major cause of deforestation, when you make the link mentally you start to see clearly. 10 times more land is needed for cattle than for just eating plants, so why grow plants to feed animals to eat, why not just eat the plants and cut out the cruelty ?

Also vegans aren’t all skinny pale activists they used to be, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Lewis Hamilton, David Hayes, Novak Djokovic all on plant based diets

Heath, my partner did Veganuary year before last and I tried, she is 99.99% there, I still eat eggs, fish and I’m not too fussed if I go round my mums and I have cows milk in tea but I haven’t eaten meat for over a year and I really don’t miss it even though I used to love BBQs and would eat everything. When I cook for myself I still eat mainly plant based meat products anyway ! I would urge anyone to try some of them the choice and quality is amazing. Meat is generally cheap because the animals are treated inhumanly, the plant based products are expensive because they are superior, the soya sausages contain more protein than pork sausages.

Me personally ? this indicates to me that Bond may have personally taken part in the fundraise and benefitted from the discounted share offer.

So under the enterprise investment scheme the investors benefitted from a 30% tax rebate plus the 20-25% discounted share price, so they effectively got the shares half price.

Thanks for that info Newboy, it seems AFC have the Midas touch in reverse, everything they get involved in is doomed to failure. AFC will just sit back relax for another couple of months and watch Siemens and the like race ahead.
Sad also that we only have Acciona to trial the genset considering how amazing it’s meant to be. I wonder if Acciona are trialling various gensets from other manufacturers too and we are just one of a number of contenders, it would make sense after all, Acciona are hardly going to put all their eggs in one basket like AFC seem to.

How many more times can AFC pull the wool over your eyes Southerhay ? You could have put your savings in a Barclays current account for the last 10 years and made money money than investing in AFC. I guess you'll happily spend another 10 years here too with the SP still at 20p being buoyant listening to AB's interviews.

That should be AFCs strapline Newboy, it’s why it’s taken them 13 years to get this far. I thought AFC making the event green was a big deal, you wouldn’t know it from the marketing.

It’s like Christmas, the lead up to Christmas is the time for pushing the marketing, Christmas itself is a non event, the time to push the AFC brand is now.

Heath in my defence, AB has managed a single tweet, Extreme E have retweeted hundreds of tweets from multiple sources, as I’ve said before look at Extreme E to see how to build a brand, AFC and TUVA need to wake up NOW ! Push to get themselves included in these announcements, they should be just as big a deal as Lewis Hamilton taking part but they’re not getting themselves heard and prefer to be a silent partner
