I completely agree with the Burger theory, which is why I am from time time a bit bemused by those who hope for an increase in the SP with no intention of selling. I am in TW at an average of 153, and would welcome a drop from the current price to enable me to top up. In the meantime more than happy with the level of the Divi

If you feel a bit too heavy in TW I would suggest you have a look at BDEV. Good yield with some upside potential in value I think. Regards DL

Hi owls, I think I can help you with Tom's logic. I think his experience may be similar to my own, and that is that on the day the shares go ex Divi the price drops by the amount of the dividend....but it is invariably the case, that by the time the dividend is actually paid, (in the present case some six weeks later), the SP will have recovered to its pre ex Divi level or thereabouts. I suspect that is the logic, or at least based on my own experience, I suspect it is. It will be interesting to see the SP level on dividend pay day. All the best DL

Hi Johnson, I am in TW and BDEV, and feel that both are undervalued at current levels. I think there might on balance be a greater upside potential in BDEV just now, and can easily see that being in the high 600's before it goes ex Divi towards the end of the year. As far as TW is concerned I agree with what was said earlier that this is a good solid buy at below 190. Great yields in both but maybe greater prospects of a 20% uplift in value in the near term. All iIMHO of course Regards to all with one notable exception lol DL

Morning Tom, thanks for that. I now have my Dvi as well. I am with HL and it sometimes doesn't actually show in the account until around 9.30 am on a pay day. I am still in TW and ITV. I topped up in ITV at about 148 a few months back, and TW recently as well around 192. I might top up further in TW before the 31st if they drop below 200. I am also in Sxx which I bought a while back at 24.8. And DC at just below 180'a few months ago as well to average down. It has since risen nicel, so am now back in profiler with that and with a decent Divi to come. ATB DL
