I think Bubbles, with respect, that it is not so much the fear of Brexit, per se that has had an adverse impact on shares, but more the uncertainty surrounding the political shambles in delivering Brexit. I suspect that however is nearing a resolution and that we will finally be free of the undemocratic state that is the EU, and finally regain control of our own laws etc. The EU is failing and we will be well rid of it .... IMHO of course

Hi Nige, if enjoy reading your posts, and in most instances both understand and follow the logic behind your investment strategy. However I really di think that with the greatest respect, you need to reconcile yourself to the following :-

1. We are leaving the EU.
2. Article 50 will not be revoked
3. There will be no second Referendum.

These are the facts and we all have IMHO to reflect these facts in any investment decision we all make.

I think that in this instance you are right and that 121 is not going to happen, it might dip below 130 but maybe not by much. Perhaps you should just get on with it one way or another, and try to resist the temptation of subjecting the rest of us to your inner most thoughts on the subject

That is a very interesting article Chris, and I suppose gives some of us who have been in this for a while, cause for some hope after the disappointment of last year. I suppose the 64,000 dollar question really is whether to invest further, and average down. I think my current average is about 81p, so maybe there is a case for doubling my investment and therefore giving me an average of around 40p.

Anyone else have any views?

I have been agonising about this as well. I think the price now is really at the top end of my current buy in price. I was gong to buy when it went sub 370 but held off in the expectation (or maybe hope) that it might go lower.

I think I will still hold off at the moment but def buy if it falls back below 400

I have always assumed that it is just random or arbitrary numbers inserted until the market opens and the SP finds its level. The figures are of no relevance IMHO

Yes that's right, and he is also incredibly offensive and down right arrogant!

I think that Bloomberg article obviously portrays ITV in a very favourable light. Even disregarding any potential takeover, the yield at the current SP, together with even a modest uplift in value over the next 12 months seems to me to represent reasonable value and is difficult to ignore.
