Yes the RNS said update shareholders in the near term, but update about what. they could produce a RNS that simply said we are continuing discussions with multiple parties. Lets not go down the road of trying to second guess what might or might not have been hinted in a statement, we all know what took place on here over the 4 month exclusive period by doing just that ,and this board became a very unpleasant experience.

It could be that the lack of information regarding the reason for the company not agreeing a JV is all to do with the confidential agreement. Maybe BPC's hands are tied as far as disclosing the reason is concerned.

" That was not said by Potter or anyone else at BPC, you made it up. What was said was locked in joint venture talks with multiple parties, end of. We have been here before, exactly one year ago there were 4 Non-Disclosure agreements that came to nothing. I would love to see a deal signed only time will tell.

Anybody that speaks to the company will just get the usual statement, ie data room busy interest from oil companies and talks progressing. That is about all they will say and nothing about competitive bidding that's for sure, somebody guessing again and one of these times they might be lucky.

I agree that the EA is not the main issue, all I said was if and when the EA is agreed there would need to be an RNS as the information would be price sensitive. As for the statement" locked in talks" where did that come from, what I read was free to talk to other parties after the end of the exclusivity agreement.

They would need to inform the market if and when the EA is passed as that would be price sensitive.

Exactly one year ago BPC announced it had signed 4 new Non-Disclosure and Confidentiality agreements with prospective farm-in and financing partners and nothing came of them, then we had the 4 months of the latest company to be interested which ended a month ago with no agreement so why should anybody be jumping in and buying?

I posted in response to that article. Nothing new said, same old same old, so will believe BPC when they actually sign a JV.

BPC have been telling us for years about the data room being busy and as such obviously the have been talking to companies about a JV. So far no company has shown sufficient interest to sign a JV agreement so I will believe it when I see it happening, until then its back to the bottom drawer.

So little left of my investment its hardly worth cashing out.

What everybody on this board needs to remember is that all points raise are that person guess or if you prefer speculation. From the information BPC have given us that's all it can be, look at all the information BPC have given out and make your own decision on what you think the situation is, do not let others on here sway you.

Reading that RNS again doesn't instil confidence in the prospect of BPC getting a deal over the line. That is now five companies that have struck non disclosure confidential agreements, with so far no positive outcome. Makes me wonder if the technical data is all its made out to be or is something else putting them off signing a JV.

Where are the results from the samples sent for testing, they were supposed to take 6 weeks and now it is 3 months. Very dubious that they have not been released or were they ever sent in the first place ?
