Firering Strategic Minerals: From explorer to producer. Watch the video here.
Terry, you make some good points which are true.
However, I disagree about your point when you say SM do not want companies sniffing around if a plan is in place for a future tie up.
I would say you want everyone sniffing around to ensure you get the best offers and purchase price for the company if a takeover is in the offing.
It is great to hear all the new cars we will be in soon, and the guesses at revenue and profit.
We are almost two hours into trading and there are less than 20 trades of little value. SM does not exist in the eyes of the public, that is our problem.
The share prices set up for PG's performance three years ago were widely acknowledged as being too low at the time, and hence, there was now real challenge for PG.
May
Maybe if they have been set higher and more challenging our share price would be stronger today, despite the global issues that have occurred hitherto.
All those items you list should cause the share price to increase, and like all the LTH on here, I do hope we get some concrete news soon.
PG has mentioned increasing shareholder value has one of his goals in a number of interviews and RNS releases. We are now coming towards the end of another financial year, so we really do need some news and some numbers to show where we are this financial year and where we are going.
I am not saying it is impossible, because we all know AIM companies can move 100% in a day if there are some big announcements.
And as we all know, SEE is a company with real assets/IP that are required. It is also the market leader.
The share price closed today at 6.98 pence. Just to get to 9.6 pence it will have to increase by 37.53%. Then this average will have to be maintained for 30 trading days. Obviously, every day that it does not reach 9.6 pence, the share price will have to go higher than 9.6 pence to maintain that average. In the current market conditions this seems to be a tall order, unless there are some very special surprises or announcements to be made.
If PG wants his bonus, then the weeks to the end of June should not be dull. However, PG may not be concerned about his bonus since any take over offer in the near of far future will surely include an agreement to ensure that he gets all his bonus, and probably more!
You do not need to convince me about SM, I am a believer in the company, and I know the world situation is having a major impact on the share price.
I think there will be a latent effect from the RNS's of the previous month's and years which has been lost due to global problems. That is, when this does 'take off' there we will be dramatic movement in the share price, a market realisation of SM's worth, and consequently a scramble to buy into Seeing Machines.
I have got to be an optimist because I am in far to deep to bail out now.
The trouble is the RNS's are flowing, two so far this week, and they have had zero effect on the share price!
So this has to be at 9.5 pence by May 31st and then be an average of 9.5 pence or above for the 30 days in June for PM to get his 5,000,000 free shares.
So what is he going to do to get the share price moving upwards?
What can he do?
Does he care?
Map & Mr C thanks for your responses.
As you have probably guessed, I do actually know the sort of actions that will cause a share price re-rate.
Map, all the items in your point one we have already had in some measure. Point two, a bid would obviously generate some price movement depend on the offer.
Mr C, politics is not my bag, do I cannot really comment on your view.
So if we have about 100-150 trades per day and this represents our current market, who is actually going to cause the re-rate of the share price?
'the market' are the traders and investors both current and potential. The market makers facilitate the trading, so how will the re-rate occur?
Anyone care to enlighten me?
Is the average got to be calculated from June 2022, or can it be from any time in the past.
I cannot find the RNS that states these dates and the share price of 9.5 pence.
About 4.5 million shares have been traded so far today. That is approximately 0.001% of the shares in issue. That has caused a 5% drop in share price.
What can you do, other than wait or sell.
It is illegal to hold back information that affects the share price. However, that does not stop companies manipulating information releases.
Any recover we do get from these levels may only take us back to previous levels we 'enjoyed'
Those two sells of 134129 and 134023 shares are actually buys, my Trading to ISA swap. For once, the drop in T+2 actually worked for me!
A bit of profit in my Trading account and some extra shares in my ISA. At least the transfer was not a loss.
Yes, but what is a stupid bid, when the share price is less than 8p !
I do not think it is beneficial for any company to keep their share price low, either by design or inadvertently.
If the share price remains at this level then it would be difficult to fight off a hostile takeover bid, if it were to come soon.
I cannot see any benefit for SM to pursue a policy of keeping the share price low. I have never subscribed to this view. I am still of the opinion that the PR is not mainstream focused, and hence, the PR only captures a limited audience.
I was not specifically referring to Bosch, I meant any company developing DMS/Occupancy IP.
John, I do not pretend to understand many of the patents you detail. But what I do see from the content is that many companies have been in this race for development of DMS/Occupant IP.
A lot of the patents seem to be similar/overlapping. Are Seeing Machine ensuring that their ideas are not been copied/reinvented?
As much as I detest the empty comments from Mr FishPie, the fact remains that the SM management have failed to improve share holder value in the last five years or more, on any metric.
As soon as we have a PM Proactive interview, that about 10 people watch , it is followed by months of silence from SM, a familiar pattern to us all.
The dismal share price is evidence that the private investor is still not convinced that anything significant is going to happen soon.
The SM management have a responsibility to develop and maintain their IP and DMS product.
They also have a responsibility to improve the share holder value year on year, which they are evidently not doing. A promise which PM has made on many occasions.
The SM management have taken hundreds of millions of dollars over the last decade in fund raising. For those PI's who backed them in the early days and throughout the calls for cash, they have had no return whatsoever.
Despite all the provado on this board , I am concerned about my large investment, as are many other PI's.
And before I get the usual comment of 'then sell your shares' - life is not that simple.
It will only take one if the Institutional Investors to get twitching and we will be in trouble.
And where are these US investors that were mentioned years ago.
It is one thing being in the shadows and holding some cards back, but when a company has a wall of silence it becomes a worry.
Surely there must be some news about the Qualcomm relationship and deals, after 18 months of association!
