PMG has only purchased 250000 share.
A pittance.
Listening to the CMD is not going to move the SP.
PMG, nearly 4 years in the job.
He has go to deliver on shareholder value or let someone else have a go.
Terry, this is great for Qualcomm, but when do SM get a share of the pie. Jan 2020, we had the first RNS that SM and Q are working together.
That is over 3 years ago.
Are you aware of any revenue for SM from this relationship?
It is a good indicator.
A low RSI, generally below 30, signals traders that a stock may be oversold. Essentially the indicator is saying that the price is trading in the lower third of its recent price range. This isn't to say the price will bounce immediately. The odds are shifting towards an upturn. Just one good RNS could be the catalyst.
If you read the FT website, the consensus recommendation for PFC is as follows:-
Buy 5 ; Outperform 4 ; Hold 5 ; Sell 1
The share price forecast in USD is as below, and I quote:
"The 10 analysts offering 12 month price targets for Petrofac Limited have a median target of 99.93, with a high estimate of 195.72 and a low estimate of 68.54. The median estimate represents a 63.41% increase from the last price of 61.15."
Maybe a little comfort for the long weekend.
It has been a tough week on the markets all last week for various reasons. Markets swing up and down. Therefore, next week should bring a rebound when those investors hunt for cheap shares.
Brent crude also took a hammering this week. It should also rebound, which should also hel PFC
Mr CFP, I think you need to be careful in what you are suggesting about Mr Ive. His financial dealings are his own concern. Any suggesting of illegality and you could find yourself in trouble.
Your surely cannot believe that a company like Seeing Machines would be involved in any underhand dealings. It is just ridiculous.
PMG is the CEO executing the Seeing Machine's strategic plan. Therefore, it most definitely does matter if he makes a purchase(s) of his company shares using this own money. It informs the market that he is confident in his strategic plan for his company. And it has got to be in a least the same order, or there abouts, as the chairman and CFO.
DR777, you are obviously a financial whiz
Tell me why YOU think the share price as never lived up to all the hype.
Where do you think the risks are for this share in the short term, say the next six months.
With private investors owning approximately 25% of the shares, one billion plus, what do you think will happen if there is a share price appreciation, bearing in mind the past history of the SEE share price, and the attitude of the many weary shareholders?
We said NikNak,
I agree. The only reason I am here is to make money from an investment. I think some have been on here so long they have lost sight of the investment.
I know holding SEE shares since 2016 has cost me a fortune in lost opportunity and interest.
As soon as the shares appreciate to a reasonable profit, I am out.
How can these analysts not understand.
It is in their job title 'analyst'.
What information is PMG going to impart to these so called analysts that wil make them suddenly understand the value of DMS in March, that hitherto, they have failed to grasp.
Every time SEE have an event, presentation, release of results, RNS etc, something transformation is supposed to happen, but it never does.
May be this time wil be different!
Also, we have had an ongoing point of inflection since May 2019. As a Mathematician, I can tell you this is an unknown phenomena.
That is all we do ! Ask questions.
Never really getting any answers from the Board.
PMG coming up to 4 years on the job.
Imminent share price move any time now ?
No, it is not a ploy.
It is a strategic move.
On the SM website it states:
"Insofar as Seeing Machines Limited is aware, the percentage of the Company’s shares not in public hands is 28.15%."
What does this mean?
It cannot be the Institutional Investors as they own more than 50%. It cannot be the private investors as it states 'not in public hands'.
So who owns these 28.15% shares?
I have asked SM a number of times and they never respond. I have asked on this board a number of times and nobody seems to know or be concerned.
So does anyone on here know who owns these 28.15% of shares.
It is a very large amount, I think this is important.
I agree Mat, a takeover is the only hope of any kind of profit on our investment.
PMG has had 3 1/2 years in the job , and dispite all his provado about shareholder value, he has failed to deliver on this promise. The share price is the evidence.
Why is it looking good for CES 2023?
Specifically ?
Are we going to see a deal > $125 Million?
Did not make any difference to the share price last year?
And why are we getting RNS's everyday for peanut purchases.
It is just a joke.
PMG has been in the job for almost three and a half years and has delivered ZERO shareholder value.
He has purchased 250,000 shares which is a joke.
If we are ever to achieve a share price near the Cenkos target then a good start would be a committement of a significant share purchase.
We need to communicate like our competitors to be on an equal footing.
Just under two years ago, Jan 27th 2021, SM share price was 12.2 pence. The burning question should be "with all the positive news over the past two years why do investors still not believe in SM?"
Well SM's approach to communicating with their investors and their general undermining of their own company goes a long way to answering that question. This has been going on for years , it is almost a mindset.
May be they are trying to change this approach but I still feel that they do not want to shout out they are the best.
If you cannot tell yourself you are the best, then why should any potential investor believe that either.
From my general reading and the numerous posts on this site, I was under the impression that the lag between contract signing and start of production for auto was 18 months to 3 years.
That takes us well into 2024.
So these auto contracts must be imminent!
When SEE was awarded the $125 million contract the share price did not respond. Now Smarteye are on the ropes and the share price is still dropping.
What have SEE got to be awarded to move this share price back to the heights of 12-13 pence ?
Every time we have a presentation or they make a 'we are doing well movie' , the share price bleeps for a day then falls back.
It is all about market belief.
I am in too deep and still concerned about how SEE are perceived by investors.
This is a genuine concern.
SEE cannot choose when to release news.
It has to be released to the market as near as when it happens. If you don't, then you are breaking the rules.
