It was major sales announcements which turned out not to be the same as (legally binding) purchase orders which caused the loss of faith in the first place. History now seems to be repeating itself. I am one of many who has deserted this company. Be very careful!

Couldn't agree more. This company doesn't filter sea water. It provides chemicals to the oil industry. It has a marketcap of £8m, net debt of £29.5m and is heavily loss making!

The options kick in at nearly double the current share price. If you accept that's not realistic then you have to ask what is this really about. Personally, I suspect that it's an attempt to bolster the sp. Why would they attempt to do that? Possibly a placing? This company scores well on quality and value criteria but a number of things dissuade me from investing here 1.) narrow margins 2) Inability to find client lists 3) exotic management language - are they trying to communicate or confuse?

Piltick, as I understand it they are not short selling (which is borrowing shares to sell), they are selling shares they own. The clause blocking short selling is simply a red herring.

To be honest I'm not sure - I was only relaying a comment. If you can react quickly enough to prevent clotting from starving areas of the brain of oxygen then the problems do not arise.This is the reason for the FAST advertising campaigns teaching the signs of a stroke. I'm not clear as to how you compare recovery from the effects of a stroke with the prevention of those effects but I assume there's a way.

Snark, MH at Thursday's presentation also expressed frustration at the lack of sp movement following on from very good phase 2 results. Two points come to mind 1.) the effect takes time and indications are that there is more improvement at 12 months than at 3 2.) I wonder if perhaps investors are anticipating a lazarus like result rather than an increase in independence. He also mentioned in passing that the current gold standard anti clotting treatment (which has to be administered at least within 24 hours of the stroke) showed equivalent results during its clinical trials.

Phase 3 Pisces trial will complete in 2019 and that is the most advanced of the trials. MH did say at yesterday's presentation that they are beginning to consider commercialisation and have for example submitted data to the NICE model and the result was that it would be suitable for approval for the NHS. This is NOT of course, the same as approval from NICE. By the way does anyone know what the no. of points improvement were achieved in Pisces 2 on the Fugl-Meyer scale? There is research out of Stanford which quotes an 11.4 point improvement when given to wheelchair bound stroke patients.( I'm trying to assess the competition).
